Dated twelfth century and rebuilt in the XV, it is one of the buildings of the former Cistercian abbey founded in 1152 Bellebranche. Located in the municipality of Saint-Brice in South Mayenne, the site provides a framework Bellebranche prestigious and rare life, in a landscape of peace, surrounded by ponds, removed from the world of sounds. Recently restored, highlighting the purity of Cistercian architecture, St. Michel Tour is an island of serenity. Their owners about their work are great travelers, have attempted to reproduce an art of living in a clean warm and comfortable decor. The building of a 140m2 area is organized on three levels around the original staircase. A living room with a magnificent fifteenth fireplace. A contemporary kitchen. Summary: After visiting the Chateauxs and Abbeys in Loire Valley, we actually got to overnite (3days) in one. Very interesting, big and accommodating with outdoor pool in extremely private setting. Claudine was most accommodating and kind. Great stay

Summary: The tower was a pleasure to stay in. It had everything that we needed. Our host was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the pool and the quiet garden. The tower is in a remote area, making it very quiet and perfect for a stress-free break. We explored some of the local towns and particularly liked Sainte-Suzanne. We also went further afield to Puy Du Fou which was well worth the drive for a family. Overall, the tower was a lovely base for our family holiday.

Summary: The St. Michael's tower is an amazing place to spend a holiday. Silence and quietness can be enjoyed in the large garden / park surrounding the remarkable historical building. Furniture, decoration and overall feel and design are highly tastefull, respectfull to the history of the building and add a lot to a remarkable atmosphere. Ideal for people in need to recharge their batteries, treat themselves to lot's of open space and all the comfort you need on holiday, inclduing a very well maintained swimming pool. The owner is very friendly and highly accomodating, but at the same time discreet. One of the best places we ever stayed at and everything the description of the site promises is entirely true. If you are looking for a truly exceptional experience, don't hesitate.

Summary: We had the wonderful opportunity to stay at this unique property for five days. Cyril and his wife were so welcoming and answered any questions about dinner reservations and driving. We learned of the extensive history of the property as well. The land itself is stunning..quiet walks with fields and ponds and a heated pool. We hope to revisit....!

Summary: Great friendly emails before the stay giving helpful advice and directions. We went for Fiancee's 30th Birthday and wanted peace and quiet. It was just that and very well done. Great facilities, high end interior and fantastically decorated. I tried to recreate the photography on my own SLR but failed! Would stay again but for longer!

Summary: We arrived to a wonderful welcome by the owners. We wanted a quiet relaxing stay in extremely comfortable accommodation and Bellebranche was perfect. The building is beautifully restored and decorated with impeccable taste and the heated pool was a welcome retreat from the midday sun. The location allowed absolute peace and quiet with views over stunning countryside, we even saw a kingfisher!
