Positive: It was a magical stay at St. Georges IV. It is the perfect location in Ypres that captures the charm and history of the area. Expectations in every area were completely exceeded. When I return to Ypres, I will only stay at the St. Georges IV.

Positive: This hotel is in a perfect location in the centre of Ypres, easy access to restaurants and the In Flanders Fields Museum. The Tourist Information Office is right next to the museum and the Menin Gate is also an easy walk. There are many other WWI sites of interest in the local area. The owner is very welcoming and has all the information you would need for Ypres. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have some real cool lighting. The breakfast is outstanding and again the owner could not be more helpful. Its a great place to stay.

Positive: Extensive breakfast with fresh fried eggs and bacon, fresh yogurt and fresh fruit, delicious petit fours,... The lady of the house was very attentive to serve our wishes as good as possible and provided an excellent service with a personal touch. Location was excellent.

Negative: I cannot recall anything worth mentioning. I could mention that the property didn't have the facility to charge an electrical car. However, there were charging stations enough in the immediate neighborhood (walking distance).

Summary: Stay in the heart of Ypres and immerse yourself in the history of the First World War!

Positive: Stayed here 2 years ago wouldn’t stay anywhere else the lady who owns it is so accommodating, so relaxing very well located

Negative: The only one thing is but it’s very small thing I would like my bed made more crisp every morning but certainly is not a problem

Positive: We were welcomed and made to feel at home instantly. The stay was excellent! Breakfast was delicious and extremely personalised. The room was super spacious and every detail was well thought out making it feel extremely luxurious! The bed was also super comfortable. Couldn’t be happier!
