Positive: The place was clean, comfortable and very unique. The renovations and deco were extremely well done and the large wood fire was a bonus and very efficient. Surrounded by an olive grove was very pleasing to the eye and it was a peaceful setting.

Positive: My daughter and I had the absolute pleasure of taking a retreat to St Andrews! The entire experience from start to finish was absolutely mesmerising. Mario was so kind and brought outstanding hospitality, making us feel so welcome and ensuring everything was in order for us. The renovated church itself was absolutely astonishing. It's beauty unmatched with anything we've ever seen before as the place has been carefully curated with so much of the original church's charisma remaining in place. The church stained glass windows truly left us awestruck, and we could not look away. The rest of the place itself carried an elegant, cooling, and rustic modern feel, where the bottom floor was literally quite cooling even in 34-degree heat! The architecture is just so gorgeous, and it makes you feel like you never want to leave. The outdoors around the property are also especially beautiful, where you can truly experience the amazing sounds of the outback bush creatures. At night, the Milky Way is visible in the sky, and it's wonderful to gaze at for a while. This is truly an understated gem and very much worth coming out to see. Thank you for a dreamy experience!

Positive: My wife, two friends, and I had the absolute pleasure of being the very first guests at this stunning converted church in St Andrews, and what an experience it was! From the moment we stepped inside, we were in awe. The old church has been lovingly and impeccably renovated. It now blends the charm of its original architecture with all the comforts of a modern retreat. The space is simply breathtaking. The high ceilings and open layout give it a wonderful, airy feel, and the natural light just pours in. We loved the thoughtful design touches, and each of the two bedrooms—one on the mezzanine level and one tucked away at the back—was cozy and comfortable. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. Mario, the host, was outstanding. His communication was amazing—quick, kind, and helpful from start to finish. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating a great experience for his guests. A perfect host in every sense! As the first guests, we felt like we discovered a hidden gem. If you’re looking for a unique stay with a lot of character and a bit of history, you can’t go wrong here. We’ll definitely be back!
