Positive: Very friendly staff. The bed was comfortable the sheets were clean and the linens were fresh.

Summary: Was not a five star but was a pleasant stay for the night. Very down to earth.

Positive: This is an older motel but the room was very clean and the bedding was nice. I loved the firm mattress and I slept very well. The a/c+heater was excellent. It was a cold night but the room was toasty. There’s a mini fridge and a tv with remote, both new and in excellent condition. The woman at the front desk was helpful and kind. The atmosphere was quiet and I was not disturbed. There is also free WiFi. All in all an excellent value. I would stay there again.

Negative: For the price I have absolutely no complaints.

Positive: It was comfy & at a great location for me, close to my job & near my family. The staff was exceptional! Very friendly group of people, and they were very helpful.

Negative: There was only 1 set of stairs & the door locks were basic household doorknobs & didn’t seem very secure. Also, the fire alarms are entirely too sensitive. I was simply cleaning my room & the aerosol cleaner set off the alarm & the fire department showed up at my door. I was so embarrassed!

Summary: I stayed one night, then decided to stay a few more weeks

Positive: The bed was comfortable. The temperature of the room was just right. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Negative: There needs to be a soft comfortable chair or two on the other side of the bed (for putting on shoes & getting dressed). The locks on the 3 doors do not work and were not secure.

Summary: This is an older Inn that is historic. The Spruce Pine Inn is close to the venue that we attended.

Positive: Pet friendly, affordable, friendly and welcoming staff, place I'll stay each time I come to visit someone whose incarcerated here in prison near by.

Negative: You can hear everything through walls and I felt as though anytime I moved or spoke it was too loud and I worried about waking others up, and on second visit I paid for double room but got moved to single bed room (which was fine) but still charged for the double and the room wasn't stocked with towels or any bath linens.
