Summary: Nice clean room with old world charm. A sprawling old-time Inn that was still quite comfortable, even with the typical creaky stairs. Check-in was easy even when I arrived late and I was happy to have been given an upgraded room since he was a quiet night

Summary: Springside was the perfect place for our stay. Sean and Beth are such amazing hosts and made us feel very welcome and at home. It felt like staying at a friend’s house. The room was awesome with a jacuzzi and small kitchenette. Great location between three cool towns of Aurora, Auburn, and Skaneateles. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area or surrounding towns.

Summary: The building and grounds looked nice. Our stay was disappointing. Staff did not interact with us in any way. Not sure if they were there. There was an event the night we arrived and a wedding party coming in as we left. We felt like awkward guests in someone else's stay. We checked ourselves into our room--no waters, no glasses, no ice, no ice bucket, no fan, no microwave, no mini fridge. The mini split (a/c or heat) did not work. We spent at least 45 minutes trying to get any kind of air moving in the room. The breakfast was not worth mentioning. I believe it's listed as continental but it was really nothing to speak of. And with a restaurant space right there, I thought they might have come up with just a few real food items. I felt nothing but regret for booking a not-cheap room with zero amenities. We should have just stayed at a motel and at least had a glass of water.

Summary: Lovely historic inn where I have been for special functions, but not to stay overnight. My room was comfortably appointed, clean and quiet. The stairs getting up to the third floor were challenging, as there is no elevator, but I was offered help with my luggage. Breakfast was basic continental.
