Positive: I absolutely loved it at spendeur grand! Everybody was incredibly hospitable! Fazeel was exceptionally helpful and patient! The snorkeling was amazing! They even took us to a huge lagoon in the middle of the ocean which was not part of our snorkeling tour. Loved it!!

Positive: It was disappointing on the first night we didn’t receive what we paid for, which was a sea view, it’s not right to charge for something and not give what has been paid for. We were moved the second day to a sea view room which we had paid for. The rooms are new and clean. Breakfast and dinner were taken at a restaurant next door and we were happy to receive traditional Maldivian breakfast.

Summary: Good location right in the harbour, very clean. Just disappointing we didn’t receive what we paid for in the first night

Positive: The location was good, in front of the harbour and next to a café. The room was clean.

Negative: There was an issue with the payment. On booking.com, it says that we pay at the property and that they accept visa card payment. Actually, they don't have a card reader and accept only cash payment, preferably in USD. We didn't know so we didn't have cash and there was no ATM on the island to get some cash. So, we had to do a bank transfer. The property owner sent us a link to pay, but charged the transfer. We had to pay an extra 10USD for the transfer... We recommend that the property change their advert on booking.com to explain better how to pay and improve transparency to help tourists being better informed. Another small recommendation is that in the room, there is no tea or coffee. We would have liked to have a kettle at least to make tea and a coffee machine if possible. Also, we had to buy bottles of water regularly. In addition, we had issues with the WiFi that was not always working.
