Positive: Very polite staff with fast responses to any request. The heating worked well, which was a big plus.

Negative: The hotel was not very close to the city center. The room had good potential in terms of design, but it felt a bit dirty, especially the floor. The lighting in the room was very low and dark, to the point of being uncomfortable. The sink was also leaking.

Positive: Location is great to the train station and other Brussels points of interest. Spirella is a quaint accomodation which is between a hostel and a hotel as you share a common area but you have your own room and bathroom.

Negative: It looks like it could be cleaned a bit better. The bathroom had large marks on the wall and there's certainly some work that needs completing on the rooms. The doors shake whenever something large goes past which is noisy as that happens most of the night. Although it was gothic themed it was very dark even with all the lights on. Walls are thin which means you can hear a lot going on around your room.

Positive: - Location is fine, the train station is pretty close (10 min walk) - Bed is very comfortable - It’s quite warm in the room - Toiletries are great

Negative: No slippers Just a half of a toilet paper roll was provided for several days Rules about food on the rooms Staircase is extremely uncomfortable and dangerous, no way to climb there with a suitcase The room wasn’t ready for check-in at 15:00 No handle in the toilet Shower is in the room, separated with a curtain No wet cleaning, it’s dusty in the rooms Cold water in the washbasin All sounds made by other guests feel as if all guests live in a shared room (from toilet flushing to conversations)

Negative: The stair case. Made for gnomes and/or young luggage free travellers. No lift available should be on the ads. For an old person this was a pain in the neck.

Positive: Luxury apartment in the very heart of Brussels. The interior is tastefully designed, with everything brand new after a recent renovation. If you’re looking for stunning Instagram photos — this is the place. On the ground floor, there’s a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, fridge, toaster, stove, and all necessary utensils. There are two 24-hour convenience stores nearby. Cafés are just a 3-minute walk away, as well as the main attractions and the famous flea market.

Positive: Very stylish and nice. We loved all. Very good location for exploring Brussels on foot. Atypical house and tastefully decorated. Many write about the staircase, but frankly it is perfectly usable. We had no difficulty using it. I warmly recommend it.
