Positive: Very nice lodge offering good traditional homely facilities for anyone visiting the Drakensberg and the Anglo-Boer War sites nearby. Would highly recommend the guided tour of Spion Kop which was excellent. Nice place to relax in the evenings with a sundowner.
Negative: Nothing - the staff were welcoming and helpful and I would gladly stay here again.

Positive: absolute heaven on earth place, highly recommend, lovely place
Negative: if I would advise anything try to heat the dining area in winter so people are not using jackets etc....that would provide a more cosy luxurious feel....do appreciate the expense of heating

Positive: Where it is located. It's peaceful.
Negative: The room it's old. They need to do some renovations. Put A/C instead of hearter or fan. There were no soaps, lotions n shampoo in my room. Put some TVs also. It's expensive compared to what they are offering. Their breakfast also was boring.

Negative: The staff was not warm and friendly, when we got at the reception, most of the things were not explained to us, we had to keep on asking each and every thing. The menu is limited and very small portions of food No tv in the rooms The staff was not properly cleaning our room The long gravel road that you have to drive from the main gate, which is 1.5km is very exhausting and the road is really bad
