Negative: The staff was not warm and friendly, when we got at the reception, most of the things were not explained to us, we had to keep on asking each and every thing. The menu is limited and very small portions of food No tv in the rooms The staff was not properly cleaning our room The long gravel road that you have to drive from the main gate, which is 1.5km is very exhausting and the road is really bad

Positive: I loved the view from the restaurant and the pool area was so relaxing

Negative: The rooms needed a little TLC; they were clean but quite dated. The linen was old and faded the floorboards need a little attention, the chairs on the veranda were not really comfortable and if you were not sitting on your bed there was not many places to sit in your room. The rooms just need a little more love; they are very dated and old. Also, as the doors open out to everyone walking past it would be great if maybe some net curtains could be put up so you can leave your doors open when lying on your bed

Positive: Honestly impeccable service from the moment we got there. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and well prepared & served. The room was beautiful and whilst we weren’t in the room the ground were very well kept with a welcoming fire made for us in the bar area where we sat and read.

Negative: Only issue I think was the bath’s cold water tap didn’t work but there’s a shower in the bathroom too to make up for it.

Summary: Impeccable, warm service with delicious meals and a beautiful room.

Positive: The staff was friendly and so helpful. It was peaceful at the lodge and the room was clean.

Negative: The bed was making noise, the bathroom needs some renovations it's outdated.. Too much frogs cos it was raining
