Summary: Absolutely wonderful property in an ideal location - secluded yet close to market and other activities of Chilmark; however we found we did not want to leave the property itself as it offered everything we needed - wonderfully relaxing with the ocean and beautiful beach right there. Layout is reminiscent of California style houses with strategic use of outdoor space and enough privacy for all. Check-in and out was smooth and efficient; will definitely return.

Summary: Very comfortable, unpretentious home situated in three separate, adjacent buildings, creating perfect privacy for guests. Large lawn leading up to stairs which descend to the beach. Good location near Chilmark General Store and Chilmark Tavern. Bike friendly area. Landscape is well maintained. Manager/concierge Gracy is just a call away to give guidance.

Summary: I've probably stayed in 20 rentals on the island and this was easily the best one. Grace made our stay so easy. She's the best!! Will definitely stay here again!

Summary: This property was the best vacation rental that our family has ever had the pleasure of renting. There were so many pluses that I don't know where to begin. Maybe it was the sound of the ocean waves breaking as we went to sleep, or waking up and showering outdoors in the early morning sun. It could be the wildlife all around or the body surfing at the beach down the dramatic staircase. Or perhaps the moonlit walks we enjoyed on our own private beach. The home was a perfect mixture of charm and luxury, with plush mattresses and clean, crisp bedding. The towels were thick and everything we needed was provided. This home is very well maintained. The outdoor fireplace was magical on cool nights where our family sat for hours just taking in the beauty that surrounded us on all sides. The hottub was a delight after a long day of play on our own private tennis court. The location was perfect as we were minutes from Chilmark Town Center and the community center. We were also a short walk to the Chilmark Store front porch, where we had lunch one day and mingled with some stars! The property manager was always available for all our questions and requests and she provided 5-Star customer service throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property to our friends and we will be back next year!!
