Positive: The location was close to the beach, shops and restaurants. And it had wonderful ocean views and breezes

Negative: The front door code didn’t work for me. There was no ‘red logo’ sign (as a press ‘enter’). We came and went thru the garage.

Negative: The shower in the master needs attention. The valve to get the water temperature right is very stiff and u have to get the exact right spot to have hot water. The washer lid doesn’t stay open when you load it. The dryer vent may need to be cleaned as it took several cycles to dry one load.

Summary: Overall, the house was nice, it just needs some repairs and TLC.

Positive: Property was generally ok and the location to the beach was good. It is about a 10 block walk to where most of the restaurants are as well. Overall would have given the property about 8/10. Two other factors also decreased the rating: -The owner scheduled work on the exterior walls outside all the bedrooms that started at 8:00am on the days we were there with no notice to us before our booking. -We asked if possible to drop bags before 3:00 checkin so we could go to the beach, but were told it wasn’t possible as they had amother guest checking out at 10:00 and needed to do the cleaning and even leaving the bags in the garage wasn’t allowed. I guess I get that if that is the policy, but then the chekin wasn’t ready even at 3:00 and we were left sitting on the curb for 30 min.

Negative: The staff was perhaps a bit too attentive, peppering us with notices that the wifi was off, or a car was in front of the garage for a few minutes. While we don't really mind, other guests might feel unsafe with being so closely surveilled.
