This spacious home welcomes you warmly with a grand panoramic view of the western Gulf of St Lawrence. It has all the privacy and amenities your family/group could want for their retreat. After rounds of golf on Cabot's golf properties, lounging at the warm sandy beach, or touring our beautiful island, return to your home away from home.
Our nearly 5000 square foot executive property has ample space and privacy while vacationing in Cape Breton. Situated high on a hill in Inverness' most exclusive neighborhood, the home was designed to bring the "outside in" and to create panoramic views from nearly every window. You will be amazed at the incomparable sights of the western gulf coast, Inverness beach, picturesque harbour, and the world class Cabot golf courses all from your front deck.
The house sits upon seven acres surrounded by spacious lawns for yard games, wild roses, flowers and trees beyond. This ensures complete privacy, while only a few minute drive from golf and all town activities and amenities. Come lounge on our expansive deck and patios and plan your days of golf, beach, kayaking, fishing, horse back riding, hiking, and exploring the Cabot Trail. Then relax at days end, as you watch from your perch taking in the beauty of the setting sun over the warm waters of the Gulf of St Lawrence. If it sounds too good to be true, come see for yourself.
Our home is comprised of three levels, with high ceilings and very spacious rooms, ceramic tile baths, and hardwood floors throughout. They include the main kitchen and living areas, the upper bedroom level, and the lowest level, a fully equipped space which was designed for extra privacy if desired.
The main floor of 1700SF includes high ceilings with fans, a richly appointed 20X24 fire-placed living room with triple sliders and flloor to ceiling windows. A den/office/HDTV room closed off by french doors, if desired, with reclining leather sofa and chair. Also on the main level is a huge open, fully applianced kitchen, with a 9' granite island with seating, a dining table for 10, daybed, separate laundry room with washer/dryer, and a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. The entire main floor is wrapped by a large deck with lounge chairs and umbrella table to enjoy the sun, outdoor meals, and remarkable views and sunsets.
The upper bedroom level of 1200SF includes the large master with king bed, nightstands, sofa, and HDTV, en suite with its own full bath, walk-in shower and whirlpool. an en suite upper deck provides a private area facing the western sunsets over the gulf. Two large additional bedrooms complete the upper level, one with a queen bed and en suite 3 piece bathroom, the other with a queen bed and ocean view, both with large closets.
The property's accommodations also include a fully equipped 1700SF lower level with access to to a front patio where people gather to watch evening sunsets by a fire. This level includes a great room with sofa and chairs, HDTV, and futon. It has its own kitchen/lounge room with sink,dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and a small cook-top to prepare a bite to eat. This level also has two large bedrooms; one with a queen bed, and one with two twins. A three piece bathroom (tub/shower, sink, toilet) is conveniently located to both bedrooms. The lower level has a separate entrance with stairway access to the main floors. It allows privacy from the upper floors if desired, providing guests the ability to gather as one group or maintain privacy between living areas.
Other amenities include an outdoor (upper level patio) shower, BBQ grill, Smoker, Chiminea (lower level patio), large adjacent parking area, and large open lawn area for games and outdoor activities. It should be noted that the house is not child proofed.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in Inverness and this house was perfect for my family of 7, including our 4 young adult children. Rick, Madonna, and Danny were very responsive to our questions and needs. The views are beautiful, the house comfortable- like our home away from home, and the location is great. My husband and sons enjoyed how close the house was to golf at Cabot Cape Breton. We also enjoyed the proximity to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and enjoyed a wonderful hike on the Skyline Trail. Local restaurants were great too. And because it was still lobster season- Danny helped us with getting and preparing fresh lobster that came right off the boat! Such a great and memorable vacation.

Summary: An absolutely stunning home and property; the view of Inverness Beach and town is gorgeous- morning, noon, and night! Space for everyone, relaxing and quiet, convenient location, deluxe furnishings, and fully equipped kitchen and laundry with everything you could need. Positive interactions from the moment I booked, to the warm welcome upon arrival, and the follow up after our stay. Highly recommend!

Summary: We had a great stay in a beautiful house overlooking Inverness and the Bay with wonderful views. Large,comfortable house for our group of 8. Check in was made very easy with a tour of the house. It was a perfect set up for our group and would certainly do it again.

Summary: We had an absolutely wonderful time and the home was the basis for it all. We loved everything about it! Including the caretakers and the suggested local people for assistance. The helped us source lobsters right off the boat and drivers to restaurants. We could not have asked for a better experience. The only regret is that I wish I stayed longer! Thank you!!!

Summary: This is a dramatically beautiful property overlooking the harbor. The house is well laid out and spacious. No AC but a generous breeze across the hilltop and fans kept the place very comfortable even on relatively warm days. We had a take-out dinner on the deck one night and I'm glad we did. The view is just spectacular above the town. There is space for a whole other family downstairs but we never even went down there for just the two of us. An abundance of cooking supplies shows that the owners actually use the place as well. This is an A-one property.

Summary: This house is perfectly situated on a hillside overlooking coastal Inverness. The house offers spectacular views of the Cape Breton coast, sitting above picturesque dunes and beaches, as well as golf links below. The view is truly exceptional, more remarkable and memorable than any other house or resort we have stayed at. One could sit on any of the decks mesmerized by the surrounding beauty in perpetuity. The house itself was in pristine condition and the property managers were waiting to greet us with a smile even though we did not arrive until late the evening of check in. Check in and check out occurred without incident, couldn’t be easier. Owner was extremely attentive and accommodating providing us with excellent recommendations for local dining. All of my party greatly enjoyed the stay There was plenty of room for all. We were able to spend time together in the shared family area (again with breathtaking views) while being able to retreat to private quarters when needed Overall an exceedingly enjoyable and memorable experience. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this residence for those wanting to enjoy an upscale get away
