Negative: The property could use a little update and more attention to keeping amenities like the hot tubs operational. One of them was not working and no sign was posted accordingly.

Positive: I loved the location, and the orientation of my room, so that the window faced out to the creek. The room was comfortable, but outdated, and could use a little freshening up, while still maintaining the rustic feel. We had some wonderful easy hikes to the falls. I loved the hammocks outside for relaxing.
Negative: I would have appreciated a small mini mart. There was no other place to eat except the restaurant, which was not clean, was noisy, the air conditioning vents were blowing very cold air on us, and we could not charge our meal to our room (and did not notify until the end of the meal), so after dinner we had to go back to our room to get a credit card. The restaurant felt like a camp mess hall which was fine for breakfast and lunch, but we would have enjoyed a little more finesse for dinner time.
Summary: We had a pleasant, comfortable stay. I would happily return for the sheer beauty of the location.

Positive: This place is so lovely. This is our favorite place in this area. Beautiful views, hiking trails, quiet and hiding place with the mountains around. There is a great restaurant across the street . And of course, thanks for the helpful and incredible people who work there. It is what makes this place so nice and special.

Positive: Prices were very high ..only ate dinner first night ..prices for breakfast the next day were to high ..we drove down the rd to the Cheyenne Crossing store for breakfast .....omg great prices and food was delicious !Food
Negative: Food prices and choice ...you were out of many items for dinner .!

Positive: Beautiful lodge up on the mountain making it easily accessible to hiking and waterfalls within walking distance. The room that we had, Calamity Jane’s room, was wonderful, large, and plenty of space to spread out. The lodge lobby with a large fireplace was a great gathering space outside of the room. Would 100% recommend.

Positive: Location was secluded and beautiful. Hammocks and bench by the creek. Sound of water and nearby waterfall. Hot tub was nice.
Negative: Huge tents were set up for a wedding, blocking some views. There was a long wait at the restaurant in the evening due to short staffing.
