Our Home
As you wind up the pebble-stone drive to Spahaus 36, the forest begins to hush a distracted world behind you. Our chalet’s clean, modern lines rise among the trees: calm, grounded, and quietly breathtaking.
Step inside, and the air itself seems to exhale. Warmth radiates from the heated concrete floors as soft light spills across a grand, open-concept space designed for connection or solitude: laughter that lingers around the table, slow meals shared from the heart, or quiet, meditative moments that stretch into stillness.
From our chef’s kitchen, your gaze drifts to the living room - the soft curve of the sofa, the gentle crackle of the wood-burning fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the secluded forest like art.
Beyond the glass, your private spa sanctuary awaits: a hot tub, cedar sauna, and cold plunge basin (summer) within reach of the whispering pines, with a fire table and outdoor lounge inviting star-filled evenings.
An open wood staircase leads to the second floor, where one of three tranquil bedrooms await. Our primary suite’s freestanding tub and rainfall shower offer the ultimate invitation to slow down. Indulge in shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hand cream to pamper you during your stay.
Two additional bedrooms are just steps from the main floor living area, each featuring a private ensuite and reading lights that provide a gentle glow for late-night reading.
In the morning, enjoy filtered sunlight dancing through the trees, the fresh scent of the outdoors drifting through open windows, and the aroma of coffee brewing alongside the glow of the fireplace. By evening, stroll to the lake for golden sunsets, then gather with your guests on the cozy sectional in the living room to relive last night’s laughter and look forward to another unforgettable day

We’re so glad you’ve chosen to stay at Spahaus 36! To keep our home peaceful, safe, and beautiful for everyone, please take a moment to review our expectations below.
1. Getting to Know You: After a reservation is secured, we’ll reach out to request a quick ID verification using a current, valid ID. This simple step helps us provide a seamless guest experience.
2. Respect our Space: no smoking, parties, illegal substances, or pets are allowed inside or outside the chalet. (We love animals, but allergens mean we must keep our home pet-free.)
3. Guest Limit: only the number of guests listed on the reservation may visit or stay overnight. Max 6 guests (infants included).
4. Quiet Hours: please keep the noise to a minimum between 11pm and 8am.
5. Spa Care: the hot tub is equipped with a cover-assist frame to make it easy to lift and replace the cover. Rinse off any lotions before using the spa, as they can affect the water quality and may require the tub to be drained, which could result in an additional fee. Please ensure children are supervised at all times.
6. Furniture, Tech & Décor: Our chalet is blissfully TV-free, encouraging a little digital detox with the kind of outdoor scenery that puts any screensaver to shame. If you love your TV and shows, feel free to bring the device of your choice. Also, since we’ve lovingly curated our furniture, please keep indoor pieces indoors and outdoor pieces outdoors.
7. Fireplace: use eco logs only (no wood) in the indoor fireplace. One eco log per night is provided; extras are available at the nearby hardware stores. Note: to the right of the fireplace, there’s a decorative niche filled with real firewood that’s for display purposes only.
8. BBQ use: the BBQ (seasonal) should remain at least one foot from the house to protect the siding.
9. Septic System: Our chalet runs on a septic system, so we kindly ask guests to be mindful of what goes down the drains. We’ll provide everything you need including septic-safe toilet paper and clear guidelines to help keep the system running smoothly. Your care helps keep the chalet (and the environment) happy!
10. Security and Wildlife: please lock doors when you leave or at night, and use window screens to keep insects and wildlife outside.
11. Check-In and Out: please respect our 4pm check-in/ and 11am check-out times to allow our cleaning team to prepare the home for our next guests. Parking is available on the driveway, and please don’t block the neighbours.
12. Care and Consideration: leave the home as you found it. If damage or excessive mess occurs, even accidentally, the cost of repair or replacement may be deducted from your deposit.
