Summary: We met with the caretaker and owner on arrival at 4pm. They could not accommodate a bag drop but we totally understood why. The villa surpassed expectations both the inside and outside space were far bigger than we could have imagined. Couple of issues were immediately dealt with by maintenance without any fuss. If anything, the description and amenities sell the villa short so for those considering it take note; - it has an epic bluetooth and wifi compatible sound system in the house, the poolhouse and the pool area. - there are pool towels as well as ample bathroom towels - every bathroom had ample provisions (hand soap and tissue) - there are detergents in the washroom - the kitchen is well stocked with herbs and spices, D/W tabs, cleaning products, kitchen roll - there is so much crockery, utensils and equipment you will not go short and the villa had sharp knives!!! A first. No cava / champagne glasses but we are clutching at straws to find something they didn't have - there is a filter tap - there are books and games - the artwork is very interesting :) - the pool is huge and very deep so little ones can't stand but our two happily used inflatables - a fridge in the poolhouse would be useful to save the walk back to the villa? - the coastal path is beautiful and accessible for most but best done in a sturdy sandal and not a flip flop. Get your birkenstocks packed! The best week, in the best location in an epic villa. Thanks Arno and Martin

Summary: This is a very nice home in a quiet location right on the water and must say it’s a great place to entertain a large group of friends, however there were some very basic items missing and the guest experience was not good which took away from what could have been a great experience and from us returning here. + the power went out in the main house the first night and we were in the dark every night. There is something wrong with the grounding and no one came to fix it after multiple requests + air conditioning was not working in several rooms + missing many essentials such as soaps, dishwasher and laundry detergent etc things that a ‘luxury’ rental should have The check in experience was not convenient as well as none of their team lives near the home. We had to leave the beach club early on holiday to check in so I could meet Arno at a time that was convenient for him and very inconvenient for us. While we might not have been the best guests as it was 15 guys at a bachelor party in ibiza and did not leave the house spotless as requested with all dishes cleaned, trash taken out, etc, however we did not have the dish soap or dishwasher detergent to do the dishes. For a luxury rental we certainly were expecting more of the basics to be there.
