Summary: We had such a wholesome time in this beautiful house in Middenbeemster. The host, her brother and her mom were always available when we needed something and really cared for our wellbeing. We were able to see so much: Amsterdam, the beach, beautiful Middenbeemster and so so so many cows! Cause of the season there were some mosquitoes and spiders, but if your not phobic, they don‘t actually bother, just bring Autan and a spidercatcher if needed. Cars are usefull in the area, alternatively bring or lend a bike and the bus will bring you to Amsterdam in less than an hour. We were a group of 22 people and the week in Middenbeemster was totally perfect to spend our vacation with a bunch of chill people in one huge, pretty and fantastic house.

Summary: We absolutely loved our week in Middenbeemster. The house was fantastic for our group of 14. the kids, aged 11-23 loved all the different sleeping areas (fun cupboards and nooks). The kitchen has everything you need and plenty of dining room for everyone. Location is fantastic and the local town had great restaurants, grocery store, bakery and everything you need. Easy access via bus into Amsterdam. We hired bikes and had them delivered to the house so we could ride to the local towns around as well. It was a 30min bike ride to some really cute villages around us. Rona is amazing, and helpful with tips about where to visit and good places to eat. Plus of course the windmill, which were had a very thorough tour of. We loved our stay here, and being away from he hustle and bustle was an absolute bonus. A real treat was watching the amazing sunsets with a glass of wine and some amazing local Beemster cheese.

Summary: We went with a big group to Anne's house and it was fantastic! The house is extremely spacious and really cozy. Perfect for big groups who want to have a great retreat. Supermarket is 5 min away and Anne is a great host, providing help before and during the stay. We will repeat for sure!

Summary: Das Haus hat leider nicht unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Die Umgebung ist zwar schön, aber als wir ankamen mussten wir zunächst viele Spinnen einsaugen. Das schlimmste für uns war jedoch, dass es keine Schränke gibt und dass dies nicht einmal in der Beschreibung angegeben war! Wir waren dort mit Familien und Kindern und gerade bei vielen Leuten brauchten wir echt Schränke die es nicht gab.
