We furnished and fitted out this villa with love as a get away for ourselves rather than with the intention of renting. Everything is modern, brand new and fitted to a highest standard. The floors and bathrooms are marble with air-conditioning throughout. We have provided lovely comfortable beds, 2 x superking and one king bed plus two twins and 2 sofa beds. Everything is far above the basic facilities and as this is our first time renting we are hoping that our guests will enjoy and care for our lovely home. Our accommodation is 4 large bedrooms, the master bedroom is en suite and has its own private terrace area. Bedroom 2 has an en-suite toilet and shower room. A sofa bed is provided in the main lounge and another sofa bed is in the basement den. Even at maximum occupancy the villa doesn't feel over crowded.
Most guests at La Manga have a hire car, and there is private parking right in front of the villa, but for those that want to use the free resort bus, it stops a few minutes level walk away with just a few steps up to the villa. Once home you are in a beautiful location with massive terrace, sun loungers for everyone, a bbq and a panoramic view to die for.
Restaurants and cafe are a short walk away but we love the fact that our villa is private so you can play music, relax and enjoy peace and quiet. We have installed a satellite dish to rival Nasa so you can enjoy British TV if you have had enough sunshine and swimming.
On the ground floor we have a "den" (air-conditioned) with xbox 360 and sofa bed, plus air hockey table and table tennis table in the garage. We have a cot and stair gates available and have installed a gate to close off the pool area if necessary for extra peace of mind.
For the sun lovers we have a wrap around terrace and sunbathing area around our pool that has sun from morning until night, then enjoy dining alfresco on the terrace or relaxing on the double rocking chair!
La Manga Club is a beautiful, established 1400 acre resort which is famous for its sporting facilities. Three of Europe's finest golf courses, a 28 court tennis centre, 8 pitch professional football centre, and some of the finest property in Europe. There are sporting academies for both adults and children in tennis, golf, cricket and of course football with Barcelona offering a weeks camp here in the summer. There are also many sporting superstars in residence, so keep your eyes open! The resort also has a children's club catering for younger children.
Take a drive to La Manga Strip, the narrow strip that separates the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor. Here you can find water skiing, jet skis, sailing, windsurfing, paddle boards and much more.
The resort offers 20 top quality restaurants from American to Asian, numerous pools, an extensive array of bars, clubs and a resort favourite, The Last Drop. The Spa is beyond fabulous with an indoor pool and fitness club, plus there is a 5 star hotel within La Manga Club, don't miss the Piano Bar, and an array of shops and services.
Las Atalayas is a recently completed community located behind the North golf course right next to Las Lomas and Buena Vista. Our villa has the finest panoramic views and one of only two villas in the community to have its own full size pool (6m x 3.5m).
Las Atalayas is in a prime location, less than a minute's walk to the nearest tennis court, the Peninsula Club, mini market at Deli Café, and 2 restaurants. The resort’s free transport stops at Las Lomas which is a few minutes walk away.
There is so much to do, a week just isn't enough, or indeed you can just relax and do nothing........

Summary: Absolutely excellent for families. The pool was just the right temperature. Thankfully the weather was fine so we didn’t need the excellent TV and games facilities but if the weather had been inclement then the table tennis, air football and Xbox would have been brilliant. The views were lovely and everything worked perfectly.

Summary: The villa was lovely and very well kitted out. Lovely views and plenty of amenities within a short drive. On the first day the villa was quite warm as the air con had been off which meant the air con was working so hard it tripped the electricity a few times but it settled down once the temperature settled. We had a slight issue getting the TV to work (we wanted to watch the women’s football World Cup final) but the host responded very quickly and it was sorted very easily. Very lovely stay and definitely recommend.

Summary: Fantastic villa, the owners have thought of everything. Comfy beds, powerful showers, air con in many rooms, a brilliant private pool & satellite TV not to mention the den with table tennis & other games. Amazing view from the huge terrace too. We will miss it! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was our most relaxing holiday in a long time.

Summary: This villa is just as described, sat in an elevated position with commanding views over La Manga and the Mar Menor beyond. It is ideally located for families to enjoy a peaceful holiday and still be close enough to get to the bars and restaurants as long as you have a car. Given it’s elevated position, as you would imagine, there are a lot of steps and stairs, which was fine by us but we did have to help my elderly parents. The villa had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our two week holiday. We spent a lot of time around the pool in the daytime and most evenings we sat on the very large terrace playing cards and listening to music whilst taking in the beautiful views. Overall our stay was fantastic and we would highly recommend this villa , and if we go back to La Manga we would stay here again! Thankyou to the owners Juliet and Steve for renting it out and for the very prompt communication throughout the process.

Summary: Excellent experience staying here, booking was simple and great communication with property owners prior to our arrival. We were a group of 10 with a broad range of ages, but the villa was ideal for our needs, very spacious and nicely furnished. Pool area was fab, and a big hit with the children in the group. Location was great, very peaceful in the evenings, but only a very short drive to local shops and restaurants. Would definitely like to stay again sometime.
