Summary: Stayed here to visit family, and to celebrate 1 year until we get married! Lovely, clean, and cozy spot they have created - will keep in mind when returning to the area!

Summary: Very well appointed rental unit in the basement of a cute home in Erie. Had to be one of the easiest and best experiences we’ve had. Owners are incredibly gracious and super accommodating. The place was spotless, everything was well cared for. Wish we had a longer stay to take advantage of fire pit and back patio. The space was really cozy and made it feel like home. Bed was comfortable as was the couch and side chair for relaxing during Erie Marathon weekend. We’ll stay again for sure if we make it back through Erie.

Summary: We absolutely loved this place! Very peaceful, quiet, and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast on the back patio each morning, watching deer and various birds flying around. We were visiting Erie from Florida and the property was a nice respite from the crowds and traffic we are used to. The king bed is very comfortable - we slept great every night. The cot provided for our son (10) was equally comfortable and perfect for him. The kitchen was fully equipped for our needs (and then some). Great central location, a short drive to Presque Isle, close to shopping, and convenient to both I-90 and I-79 for day trips to Niagara Falls and Pittsburgh. The bathroom and hall ceiling were low, but still manageable for us at 6’0” and 6’5” - the rest of the unit was typical ceiling height. The owners were very welcoming, and wonderful to chat with. We would definitely stay here again for future trips to Erie.

Summary: My wife and I returned after a nice stay in 2022 and we had a great time again. The apartment was spotless, and quiet….a great base to explore the area. We hope to be back in 2024.

Summary: The suite is very convenient and nicely decorated. The neighborhood is quiet. The bed, couch and other furniture was very comfortable. The outside eating area and fire circle were surprise bonuses. It was nice to have a place for out luggage, etc. that was outside of the main room, so we weren’t looking at it and stumbling over it. Great restaurants nearby and of course, Presque Isle beaches and many other tourist attractions.

Summary: I was a little hesitatant about staying in someone's basement but upon my arrival, all of my hesitation was easily put to rest. First of all, the owners, Doug and Andrea are super friendly and very accommodating. They made us feel very welcome. The space itself has a private entrance, is huge and includes and outdoor patio with table and chairs along with chairs out by a fire pit to sit out and relax in the yard. Even though it is in their home, you wouldn't even know that there was somebody else living upstairs. It was quiet and peaceful. It's a space all its own, it is absolutely beautiful. It is large, spacious, clean, has a complete kitchen, living room, huge private bathroom, dinning area and even a desk work space. The owners added so many extras, it really made our visit so much better. The VRBO is in the perfect location within driving distance of all the major attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here,it was like having your own studio apartment, not too far from the Lake. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this VRBO!

Summary: Moved to Oregon 10 years ago, visiting family in PGH…decided to revisit some old fishing spots. The property is beautiful inside and out. Well appointed, great appliances, luxurious towels, etc. Great outdoor seating area and access to a fire pit. On of the best rentals we have stayed at!!!
