Positive: The location was perfect for visiting family in a nearby village. The cottage was delightfully refurbished, clean and beautifully furnished and the contact with the host was particularly informative and friendly. We stayed for a weekend with three generations of family including a baby. The facilities for all were exceptional especially for young children. We could have hosted a large family dinner in the dining room if we were staying longer, rare for a country cottage! We hope to stay longer next time to take advantage of all the cottage had to offer.

Negative: The bed in one of the bedrooms was large and it was a squeeze to move around it in the room, but only a minor comment.

Summary: We were all delighted with the Old Post Office and will stay again, hopefully for longer next time.

Positive: We have not met the hosts, but they sent several hospitable messages. Information received before and on arrival was no more nor less than was useful, and easy to refer to. Without knowing when the house was converted or restored, it looked freshly decorated and well thought through. Fully equipped from cooking tools to bathroom fittings to interesting children's games and even yoga and exercise gear. We were fortunate to be there, though only briefly, at the height of summer, Several people we encountered stopped for brief and welcoming conversations. Although we live in a small village, North Perrott seemed exceptional. Across the road, the lane past the old vicarage with high trees approaching the church offered tranquility at any time. The pastoral view from the start of the footpath demanded to be walked, but we did not have the time.

Negative: Cannot think of any improvements.

Summary: At the Old Post Office only briefly, for engagements half an hour away, but shall remember it warmly

Positive: Location was great base for visiting family and friends nearby. I didn't feel I was in a holiday let but a home. Everything was clean, and extremely comfortable with a fantastic host who made me feel very welcome.

Negative: Sadly, I was suffering a painful knee and back problems prior to arrival so steps up to kitchen as well as steps up to shower room aggravated problem but didn't ruin my time in this wonderful place.

Summary: Wonderful stay in a an excellently thought out home from home. All rooms lovely and tastefully furni

Positive: Beautiful newly renovated cottage, spotlessly clean, plush furnishings, fully equipped kitchen, beds so comfortable we wanted to take them home with us. Warm & cosy especially with the log burner lit in the evening. Kate was a great host and made us feel very well cared for. Hope to return very soon
