Prefer driving? A dedicated parking spot ensures you will always have a spot to come home to.
This spacious 2-bedroom 1-bath in a on the first floor of a 3-family home is decorated with a fun midcentury-modern vibe and an eye toward sustainability. Huge windows let in tons of light, and stained glass dapples bright colors all over the living and dining rooms. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch or in the back yard, or walk 2 minutes to Nitro Coffee and sip and people-watch at Equality Park.
We have gone to great lengths to make sure everything in this home is top quality and delightful. Mattresses are new and extremely comfortable. Couches and chairs are all comfy and in good condition - nothing musty or rickety here! Decor is fun and interesting but not fussy - we have kids so there is nothing breakable at kid height. We love Newport and we love this house, and we want you to love it too.
One bedroom has a Queen-sized bed. The other room has a twin-over-twin bunk bed that has a pop-up trundle which converts the bottom bunk to a King size bed. We have a King mattress topper and King sheets if you want to have a King on the bottom, and we have plenty of twin sheets if you want to set it up with two twins on the bottom. It's really versatile. (Just in case you're still a little confused - Bedroom 2 can be set up as either (1) A twin top bunk and a twin bottom bunk. (2) A twin top bunk and a King bottom bunk. (3) A twin top bunk and 2 separate twins underneath. I'll be posting pictures with the bottom set up as a King soon.
This location allows you to walk to all the best parts of Newport within 2 minutes (Broadway) to 12 minutes (to downtown.) The surrounding neighborhood is one of the most picturesque on Aquidneck Island, and on a leisurely stroll you're sure to discover incredible architecture set among beautiful old trees and gardens.

Summary: I cannot say enough good things about this property. Excellent location, close to one of the best coffee shops in Newport (Nitro Bar). Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the famous Cliff Walk. Amanda was incredibly responsive to our families needs. She reached out to us ahead of our trip and asked what we needed for our daughter, even offering to order baby/toddler items we needed. She had a pack and play ready for my 2 year old to sleep in, which was great not having to pack one for the plane ride. The house comes with parking, beach chairs, towels, and outdoor shower. The place was incredibly clean, and I can't say enough about the darling screen in front porch. Loved having my morning coffee there. It was the perfect spot for our July 4th gathering. Can't wait to stay there again!

Summary: Meticulously clean and thoughtfully stocked. The host was extremely responsive and provided really good recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Summary: We had a great stay. We were 2 kids, 4 adults and had plenty of space and the place was well set-up. It's in a great location - close to some of the best bars, coffee and restaurants in town, and only a short walk to the waterfront. Highly recommended - thanks!

Summary: This apartment was just what we needed for a weekend in Newport as a family—a comfy family/TV room, a dining space, a kitchen, a room for the kids, and a room for us. Everything was very clean and tidy, and we wanted for nothing—there were plenty of sheets, pillows, towels, board games, TV options, etc. Amanda was a wonderful host—super responsive and extremely accommodating. And the location was very good—easy walking distance to a great coffee shop and not far from the heart of Newport. Thanks for a great stay!!

Summary: Three generations including a one year old. Location couldn’t be better. Plenty of space, lovely outdoor area for dinner and pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed, and another with bunkbeds that have a pull out on the bottom that ostensibly become a king size. Not so great for the grandparents, but certainly super for kids. Highly recommend.

Summary: There is so much good about this property including the amenities provided by the owner, the beautiful way it’s decorated, the location, The timeliness of responses by the landlord was incredible also giving us recommendations for the area and accommodating a late check out request. Overall we had a great time. The only negatives were the description of the property. we were not aware until we got there that it was a two family house with a family living above which had small children who constantly were running over our heads. We also wanted to be respectful guests and have a single family home in case of our dogs barking. I hope we didn't disturb them either. Also the description of the air conditioning is not completely accurate- the only units are in the bedroom and while they keep the bedrooms very cool the main living space got quite warm even with the bedroom doors open and we are not the type to vacation with the windows open especially so close to our neighbors.. Others may find this no issue at all , just FYI . Finally there was an ant problem in the kitchen and we were not able to prepare any meals in there. The owner quickly and very nicely advised she would put more traps out after we left , but that is a problem in Newport that we weren’t aware of before we came. Luckily we planned to eat all of our dinners out but it would’ve been a real issue had we planned on cooking there. We will be more careful to ask this question in advance when we book again in Newport.
