Spacious and modern flat, set over several floors. Enter through a small private garden, great for catching the afternoon/evening sun! On the next floor up you’ll find a good size kitchen with space to relax/cook as a (small!) group, as well as a living room with lots of books, a dining table, tv (Netflix, NowTV, Disney+ etc) and great light. The top floor has two bedrooms and a separate bathroom/toilet. The larger of the two bedrooms has a (giant!) desk (the flat is really well set up for work spaces and I alternate between working here, the living room and the kitchen!). The spare room has a double bed, with slightly less space as it is also home to a printing press and rowing machine!
I’ve put a lot of care and attention into the design of the flat, however I think the real draw of the listing is the area, which is hard to beat (I’ve lived in London all my life and for the last 8+ years there hasn’t been anywhere that could tempt me from this corner of Hackney). The flat is a 2 minute walk from Broadway Market and 10 mins from Columbia Road (both with great shops/restaurants/bars, weekend markets and weekday buzz). Outside of these hubs there are loads of great independent places to eat/drink (ask for recommendations!), several parks in short walking distance (London Fields, Victoria Park and Haggerston park, plus the canal in on the doorstep and great for a walk) and multiple transport options for when you want to venture further afield (Cambridge Heath Overground- 10min walk, Hoxton Overground - 13 min walk, Bethnal Green Underground - 15 min walk).
