WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR WINTER RENTAL PERIOD OCTOBER THROUGH MAY 1ST (7 MONTHS) We rent Friday to Friday. No more laboring in bumper to bumper traffic on Saturday when you arrive and leave on Saturday the following week. We are sorry we no longer can allow dogs!
Our house is located on cape Neddick harbor.The house is 150ft from the street(child friendly).we have over 200 ft of lawn leading down to Cape Neddick harbor.We have a full kitchen with a dishwasher, new extra large refrig, new stove. 3-bedrooms*,2 full bathrooms,2 living rooms. a office which is part of the one of the bedrooms. In the office is a full size sleeper sofa ideal for children who need to sleep next to mom and dad. We have 1 king size bed, 2 queen size , 1 full size bed, a full size futon. Direct tv with movies in livingroom and in 2 bedrooms All of are beds and linens and towels are new or are in excellent condition.**
Fish for stripers off the rocks **Fishing poles provided.***Top of the line kayaks and paddleboards for guests use .Relax in the zero gravity chairs by the ocean. Great fire pit*** free firewood for guests.Bring your own boat (launch is down the street for $10). The Cape Neddick River(google it) is a favorite of kayakers .The (child friendly) passaconway beach is 350 yards down the street.The passaconway beach at low tide becomes a massive sandbar, with shallow warm tidal pools.Bring your golf clubs the Cape Neddick country club is 1mile away.The shoreline explorer trolley service picks up and drops off down the street.The trolley enables you to to travel to York and Ogunquit for sightseeing,dining, the beaches without having to pay the $$$$ to park.
Once you arrive you never have to drive.50 yards to the left of the driveway is the Shore rd Market . The 'Market' is widely know for its great breakfast and seafood menu and the famous $9.99 lobsta roll. The market also has all kinds of beer, wine and provisions,newspapers, even the New York papers!200 yards to the right of the driveway is the Cape Neddick Lobster Pound (google it).York beach offers an eclectic assortment of shops, fine dining and nightlife.The Ogunquit playhouse offers broadway quality shows throughout the summer season.York beach is a local teenage gathering spot with the arcades and the beaches

Summary: The house was cozy and yet spacious enough for everyone to have quiet private moments as well as fun common time. The beautiful rocky harbor view was the best part with seating on the patio and down by the water. The host graciously accommodated our special needs.

Summary: Matt is a gracious and helpful host. He provided us with a lot of guidance and directed us to the most fun and interesting local sites and eateries. The property has a great view down to the water and it is easy to slip the kayaks into the ocean for some excellent paddling. The deck has an outstanding view. I would suggest that Matt get a little help with decorating the unit as the furniture is a bit of a hodgepodge. Overall, we had a great time.

Summary: This was our 2nd vacation stay and couldn't have been more pleased with our time here. The setting is just beautiful and simply looking out over the back lawn and to the Bay brought an instant feeling of calm and relaxation, a sight we enjoyed daily whether it was the sun shimmering on the water, the fog rolling in over the Cove on an overcast day or the amazing colors of the sky after a storm, it was a spectacular view and one we never tired of. The house is perfectly located between many of the key destinations along the Maine coast. The Cottage itself is fully equipped with everything you need and is exceptionally clean, safe and comfortable. This property is very well managed, and Matthew has clearly put a lot of thought into the experience of his guests. Even our Golden Retriever, Arlo, seemed to feel right at home and did fantastically well. I can't say enough about how helpful and generous Matthew was with his time and assistance should you need it during your stay. While our dining preference this trip was curbside pickup, during covid, we enjoyed great service from each and every local establishment we tried. All in all, this was a great vacation in a wonderful home! Thank you Matthew for all your help in making our time there so pleasant and enjoyable! We definitely recommend a stay here to anyone wanting to experience Maine and all it has to offer!

Summary: We could not have asked for a better vacation! I already miss the view from the cottage! From the large yard, to the proximity to The Cape Neddick Beach and other local attractions, my family couldn’t be happier. Matthew was a gracious host and helped with anything we needed. Summary: My family and I just returned from our vacation in York Beach and I have to say we have found a wonderful place! From the time we arrived and were greeted with a friendly welcome from Matt, the owner, to sitting on the deck early in the morning, drinking coffee and watching the sunrise over the ocean , from the wonderfully stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds that kept us cozy and comfy all night long, we knew we had come to the right place. We had a group of 6 including a 5 year old and we never felt crowded or closed in. There was plenty of space with many windows that provided lots of ocean views. The yard was large and well kept and our grand daughter had more than enough room to play. My son brought along his computer to do some work and was able to connect to the WIFI and internet with no problems. Our host, Matt, was one of the friendliest, most knowledgeable and helpful people that we’ve ever met on one of our vacations. If you had a question, he had the answer. We truly enjoyed our time and are eagerly looking forward to returning next summer. Thank you.
