Positive: Excellent location, very peaceful. Kitchen was well equipped. Cottage was very clean and had lots of facilities. Nice outside space. Great Wi-Fi especially for rural location.

Negative: There was no place to get food. Perhaps if information about the limited access to a shop or a restaurant was available on the website you could forward plan.

Summary: Great cottage, but wish we had known in advance, about there being no shop or restaurant nearby.

Positive: The Caretaker Trace is very caring indeed, she was prompt and genuinely interested in making sure the guests including us were comfortable and looked after well. Its nice small and cosy resort at the entrance to the Grampians. We were lucky to sight many Kangaroos and Wallabies. There were a few doing the ceremonial rounds in the resort as well. The rooms are pretty clean and very functional with every thing provided. the wooden heater is a centre piece and very nice for staring and meditating. The eco friendly toiletries and dish liquid is a very nice touch. We drove to Picanniny hiking point and from there on to Halls Gap town. There are many walks in the GPT as they call which stand for Grampians Peak Trail. Please bring a hiking shoe with ankle support to do the hiking in the bush.

Negative: The Doona cover and couch cushions can be more soft and Cushy.A dish washer will be a great addition. Rest everything is so good for the money they charged. Cant think of anything i didn't like.
