Positive: Everything. The house and grounds were perfect. Hot tub was lovely once it got to temperature and the view was lovely. House has been renovated to a high standard with tasteful decoration and felt walm and cosy. Bed and pillows very comfy. There is another south Lodge on the same road quite close by so I suggest using Google maps, locating the correct house and pinpointing the correct one or you'll blink and miss this one. Not a negative, just passing on our experience. Michelle gave lots of helpful info and advice and was a perfect host. Will definitely return.

Positive: It's really nice and clean property, the host was very helpful and accommodating, and responded to my txts really quickly. Lovely location. Would definitely return. The Hot tub was a bonus 👌 Thankyou Michelle for all your help.

Negative: Only the fact that it took 3 hours to heat the Hot tub up. But once it got going it was really nice 👌

Positive: The house was very tastefully decorated and secure boundarys

Negative: There was only one bathroom and the shower was over the bath very difficult to get in and out of the shower if you are elderly. The microwave was stored in a cupboard I am 5ft 2 and 7st it was very difficult for me to lift the micro wave in and out of the cupboard if you wanted to use it. When we got to the cottage after a long drive from Scotland the sat nav took us to the wrong house on the other side of the road. The house was not signposted at all from the outside and there is no light from the road side so the drive is difficult to find especially in the dark. The key lock was difficult to find on another building. Finally the house is very tastefully decorated but the house is rather cramp for 4 people with not much suitable storage for clothes shoes etc.The flooring is ceramic tiles throughout my husband slipped in the lounge fell and broke his hip. We are now stranded in Yorkshire while he undergoes a hip replacement in Hull infirmary.

Summary: On the whole not suitable property for elderly people.

Positive: Beautiful property renovated to a high standard. Very clean and well equipped. Great location for river and canal walks around Driffield and a short drive to dog friendly beaches. The hot tub took a while to heat up but once warm was well worth the effort!

Negative: Very small fridge - would be difficult for a family of 4 staying for a week. An outside table and a bbq would have been nice to have. Not the owners fault but there was no WiFi for the duration of our stay.
