Amazing Location!
Literally 1.5 blocks from Highway 50 and Stateline and only a 6-minute walk to Heavenly Village & Gondola, casinos and restaurants. This is a private studio as part of a boutique 11 unit self-serve accommodation. Completely renovated in 2020, this unit comes with an en-suite bath with an oversized shower, kitchenette (induction double cooktop available upon request) w/Keurig machine and a king bed as well as a work desk. Equipped with a smart TV and on-demand streaming services (occupant needs to have subscription service/no cable). All TVs and wifi are connected to Gigabit cable connectivity.
*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 8 am.*
*PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A pet fee will apply; pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please add your pet to the reservation, or disclose your pet to our hospitality team after booking.
## Access
The unit is accessed off of Poplar Ave and has direct access from the parking area and has 1 assigned parking spot, space #7. This unit is completely private with its own locked entry. The doors are all equipped with smart locks. The unique access code will be generated and sent to you by SMS on the morning of your arrival, to the phone number on file.
Interaction
This is a self-serve stay. We are off-site hosts; there is no front desk or office, and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality phone line in case of emergencies (24/7) and our team is available on call, text, or chat during 5 am - 1 am to help assist you during your stay!

South Lake Chalet offers 5 EV chargers for our registered guests’ use only. Please scan the QR code posted above chargers to follow payment instructions. Spots for unit 1 have access to one Tesla (white), and one J1772 (black) charger. Unit spots 2,3 and 4 share one white Tesla charger. Spots 7, 8, and 9 share one J1772 black charger. Unit spots 10, 11 and the ADA spot (please park with a valid placard only, to avoid being towed by the City) share one Tesla charger. Please do not leave your vehicle plugged in when not charging to allow other guests to have charging access. Should you require access to another charger type, please reach out to our hospitality team to coordinate access with other guests.
Beach Access Vouchers
All South Lake Chalet guests will receive a Lakeside Beach voucher for discounted, $5 per person beach access, valued at $30 per person, upon arrival. Beach wristbands purchased will also provide a 50% discount on beach chair and sun umbrella rentals from the Lakeside Beach Association. The beach is open between Memorial Day and closes mid-September, depending on the weather. Vouchers are not needed or provided during beach closure months.

Located within a 5-minute walk to the world-renowned Heavenly Village and Gondola, Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen, casinos, and only a 10-minute walk to Lakeside Beach (private, access fee required). This location is ideal for those working remotely (with Gigabit internet connectivity) while enjoying everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer.

Summary: My husband and I met some friends at Heavenly for a day of skiing and a night out – this unit was perfect and had everything that we needed to unwind after a day on the slopes. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great! Loved having the fireplace in mini kitchen. Would highly recommend, easy walk to the gondola and fantastic dinner across the street @ Maggie’s. Will definitely be back.!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the South Lake Chalet. The accommodations were exactly as described- clean, unbeatable location ( easy walk right to Heavenly gondola), smooth check in, convenient kitchenette, assigned parking, access to EV chargers. The small touches such as disposable slippers /eye masks, etc. were also nice additions. Dog friendly as well which was a bonus! We absolutely would stay again. Highly recommend!

Summary: This is our 4th time staying here in the last 3 years and it has done nothing but impress everytime! We will gladly always be back when we stay in tahoe! Very close to everything. Scooters help so much to get to and from with not driving. Beds are so comfy and the fireplace in the room is always a plus especially during the cold weather we just had! Highly recommend staff is super helpful and prompt!

Summary: South Lake Chalet is our go-to option every time now in Lake Tahoe. The location is perfect, just a block away from the casinos. Everything is within walking distance. The customer service is amazing! Anything you need, they will do their best to accommodate. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. The room itself is beautiful. Our last stay was for 7-nights, I highly recommend!

Summary: My husband & I were very happy with our stay at South Lake Chalet. The location was great, we walked to Heavenly Village everyday for shopping and restaurants. The room was nicely updated, cute little kitchenette and clean bathroom. Lots of thoughtful amenities & extras (earplugs & masks, makeup wipes, extra towels, etc). We had our dog with us and had no problems. Would definitely stay here again!
