Positive: The welcome was warm and friendly the rooms were warm and comfortable. Breakfast excellent and beautifully presented.

Negative: The breakfast was basic. Could be so much better through having a variety of cereals, pastries, yoghurts, fruits, cheeses etc. Given the availability of such excellent produce in France it's a shame not to make the most of it. Also a pack with all the local information, places to eat etc would be helpful. We did find a basic pack in a drawer on the day we left!

Summary: On the whole a lovely place to stay but improving the breakfast offering would make it excellent.

Positive: The warmth and discreet nature of the proprietors. The beauty of the surroundings on the warm spring evening. The attention to detail within the suite was exceptional. The choice of outdoor sitting areas was an added bonus. Our continental breakfast could not be faulted and was served with elegance.

Negative: In our opinion our expectations were fully met and therefore no improvements needed. The proprietors mission to please their customers was achieved with five gold stars.

Summary: Well worth the detour for a wonderful stay in the heart of the Correze countryside

Positive: The welcome that Denise accorded us was truly great,especially after a long journey.She did her utmost to make sure that we felt at home without encroaching on our privacy.The room was great with all mod-cons and at the same time respecting the nature of an age-old property.Loved tge sound of the river whike having breakfast. Overall a lovely experience in a lovely part of France.
