Summary: Okay this was really nice and the area was nice. The only thing I would say is wash the house down some because webs and dead bugs on the wall and i didn’t care for the kitchen being top floor, omg what a hike. I can say I got my exercise for those days. The place was big enough for 13 people, but it was just 8 of us which was awesome. Sometimes you don’t know what the weather going be like so our week was alittle cold, we jump in pool on Thursday and one time Saturday. I wish we would have heated the pool but we didn’t cause we thought it was going to be hot. But we definitely enjoy the hot tub. And the respond to you quickly.

Summary: Tucked within trees on the sounds side of Corolla the house has access to the sound via a walk down dock and is a short distance from most vacation needs. Kitchen has basics enough for cooking but the lack of a dedicated pantry space can mean that food is generally going to stay on the counters. Pool is nice and gets sun for the majority of the day, and the washer dryer combo downstairs is convenient for drying towels and swimsuits before making ways up to the living areas upstairs. Expect cobwebs and the occasional spider to pop up in doorways and outside of the home due to the surrounding trees. Sunsets over the sound are spectacular, and definitely a highlight of the trip.

Summary: We had a nice stay and enjoyed the well kept house, especially the sunset views from the balcony and the (semi-private) dock out back. Stores are a short drive away. The beach is a little further than the distance mentioned in the listing (more like a 15 minute walk) but still easily reached and there is a parking lot a block away from the nearest public access. Our only slight complaint about the house is regarding the kitchen: cooking equipment is in pretty poor shape (damaged non-stick coating, missing lids, pans bend out of shape) and there is no space other than the fridge to store any food supplies. It would also be nice to find at least a few basic cooking supplies such as salt and pepper or a few spices at the house. We cooked every meal during our stay so that was a constant source of (slight) frustration, but definitely not a reason not to come back.
