Positive: The location is superb. Right in the middle of Solihull. Easy walking distance to shops, supermarkets and transport links. The flat is very tastefully decorated, modern and superbly equipped. Our host was excellent. Friendly and quick and ready to help out when we had a question.

Negative: Nothing really.

Positive: The property was spotlessly clesn and well supplied with furniture, kitchen appliances etc and some useful food items. My husband forgot his torch when we left. The host let us know and returned it to us, declining payment to cover postage - very generous.

Negative: The only feature of the apartment was the the bed. It was narrower than the one we are used to and because it was placed in an alcove, the person sleeping on the inside had to climb over their partner on the outside, leading to disturbance during the night. Eventually I slept on the sofa after finding a spare undersheet and we both had a better night's sleep.

Summary: A lovely flat - a pity about the bed. For a single person it would be perfect.

Positive: The apartment is very comfortable. I enjoyed the stay very much.

Negative: Some of the cooking utensils aren't very clean. Probably, the previous residents haven't cleaned them properly. And it is not convenient to get off the bed at midnight since you can only get off from one side.

Positive: Location great - just a few minutes from a motorway junction, a couple of minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes walk to two supermarkets. I believe Solihull centre is really close too, but didn't get chance to visit. The complex is gated and secure and very well kept. The host gave really clear instructions about access, parking and getting the keys - no ambiguity. The apartment is well equipped with little extra touches that matter. I was in Birmingham for a training course with long days - its a shame I didn't get to spend more time in the apartment!

Summary: Would definitely choose it again when in the area - highly recommended.

Positive: The apartment was in a modern secure block 2 minutes from the shops and restaurants in Solihull. The apartment was very well equipped with modern kitchen appliances and tv’s etc and was very handy for the NEC, the reason for my visit.
