Positive: We spent 4 unforgettable days at Solea Villa Tropical with my dad, his wife, and my daughter, and we absolutely loved it. The place is incredibly peaceful, nestled right on the beach with only four charming villas, each with its own outdoor shower surrounded by trees: such a magical way to start or end the day, often with hummingbirds flitting by. We also loved the company of the friendly dogs and cats around the property; it truly felt like a home away from home. The villas are tiny but that is enough as you spend days outdoor. There’s a playground for toddlers and plenty of little details that make traveling with a child so much easier. The pool is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature: just 20 minutes from Tayrona Park and about 1 hour 20 minutes from Santa Marta. I even got to go horseback riding on the beach, which was a dream, and everything was coordinated perfectly. We had a lot of rain and mosquitoes (nature, after all!), but it's all part of the tropical charm. If you're looking for a peaceful, family-friendly escape right in front of the Caribbean Sea, this is the place.
