Positive: The hosts were very friendly. The location is great, both the house and the overall area! We also enjoyed the breakfast very much.

Negative: The beds are a bit stiff, but that’s a personal preference.

Positive: Everything! It was magical! Alberto and Iilda were wonderful hosts, they made me feel at home and welcomed me with open arms! The house had everything I needed and the hosts invited me to use anything I need from the kitchen. Alberto sat down with me to give me some suggestions for my trip and they were both so kind and loving. The location is beautiful and just like the pictures! Nothing bad to say.

Positive: We had a pleasant stay in Solar da Castanha. The place is calm, has a garden with shade under the trees. The owners were really warm and welcoming. We love nature so Serra da Estrella park was one of the best places in Portugal. Manteigas - a small mountain town having a few restaurants is couple of kilometers away.

Ilda and Alberto are natural hosts: Super friendly and gave wonderful advices for outdoor activities Their house transmits cozy and relaxed vibes of a forest house and the surroundings are amazing. Really loved its design
