Positive: Staff was nice and you can tell they are upgrading the interior of the rooms.

Negative: Tile transition in shower not connected by mortar. It tipped as I walked out of shower . Very unsafe. Please fix before someone gets hurt.

Positive: No breakfast offered, however the coffee offered in the room was very good. We appreciated that it was a regular drip maker instead of a k-pod. We also appreciated that there were trash and recycling waste containers in our room.

Negative: The room AC unit was a little bit noisy (rattled) when it cycled into cooling

Summary: Very comfortable king size mattress and overall quiet, peaceful rest in a lovely room.

Positive: - The mattress was firm (good for me, not for my husband) - It had a bathtub - The view was of a quiet forest - The room was spacious

Negative: - The bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke and it was obvious that staff knew about it because they had a glade plugin plugged into the bathroom outlet - It seemed that renovations were done cheaply (laminate floors not lining up, trim has large gaps) - The windows didn’t have screens - You could tell the hotel owners were not investing in room repairs or were cheap about repairs (there was damage to the bathtub, shower curtain hooks were missing and the remaining ones were spaced out evenly to make up for it, there was a drywall patch repair that was never painted, the tub was missing the original drain plug, so a kitchen sink drain cover was used as a replacement, there were marks in the walls from previous tenant damage, the blinds were damaged or missing slats) - The pillows were flat as if they hadn’t been replaced in a very long time - The lamps were mismatched and didn’t go with the color scheme (it almost felt like they shopped at goodwill for the furniture) - There was no “do not disturb” hanger for the door - I just got the impression that management was more interested in pocketing the profits than reinvesting cash to keep the establishment a higher quality standard. For the price, the place was too run down.

Summary: If you have low standards (just want a bed and a place to wash up), this is your place. Don’t expect more.
