Reviewer Type: Couple

Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Thoughtfully designed and “kitted-out” rooms. Very helpful staff who even assisted us in ordering some late night takeaway. Stunning views of Haikou, as well as excellent food we had from one of the hotel restaurants. Efficient check in and out, which is in contrast to other hotels we’ve experienced in China.

Negative: Nothing really. Only slight annoyance was the lift system. Having to go back up to the hotel lobby in order to get in a separate lift to leave the building was a bit annoying. This is however a very minor gripe.

Summary: Would recommend to anyone staying in Haikou!

Positive: Breakfast buffet, swimming pool, room had good design.

Negative: All the pillows were too soft, gave me a neck ache. First room allocated had a strong stale cigarette smell. Luckily the staff were quick to change rooms for me.
