Positive: Lovely homestay and a very nice host,who is very helpful for everything you need 😀super meal's and a good price. Comfortable double room.

Negative: The shower was not great, and due to the weather, the room was cold as the roof space is open to the sides. I'm sure if it was warmer, this would not be a problem.

Positive: Really nice stay. Mr.So and his family were so friendly and helpful. I visited during the plum season and his garden was full of plum I could pick and taste fresh fruits without going anywhere. He even invited us plum and corn alcohol which was so sweet and refreshing that I bought a few bottle to bring home, along with lots of plum. The room is clean and well-managed. My bed was so comfy as if I stayed in a hotel. You can refill water conveniently. You can also ask the host to help hire a motorbike for an easier commute to downtown BacHa. We had a delicious local dinner cooked by the host's wife. If you look for a decent place with a peaceful mountainous view, plum garden (which is the cuisine here) and local H'mong family, I highly recommend here!!!

Negative: A tradeoff for a good view is the road. Either walk or equip yourself with good motorbike skills. It was a bit challenging for me to ride up the slope. The road is dark at night but safe.

Summary: Pleasant local stay with the H'mong. Highly recommend!

Negative: No information or service from staff. The way the bungalow is advertised on Booking (a deluxe bungalow made of 2 separate bedrooms with 2 double beds in each) is wrong! We ended up in a nice bungalow made of one single bedroom with two double beds: so, no privacy but the same overpriced rate of 1.300.000 vnd...

Positive: Locate inside a H’mong village, you can experience their daily life, local culture, cuisine, taste their home made vodka, playing with lovely children. The homestay owner shows his great hospitality, a nice guy. What a pity when we could not arrange our trip lately in Feb, when blossom season ‘coming, then definitely his garden with dozen of Sakura trees will create a magnificent view.
