Positive: The location was very good - away from all the touristy fuss, but just around the corner from markets and restaurants and only ca 500 m from the beaches.
Negative: Communication could have been much better. We did not receive any check-in instructions, and no one answered the phone or replied to our messages through the Booking.com platform or via text. We only heard from the host a few hours after our arrival, by which time we had already checked ourselves in. This was quite different from the experience one would normally expect. Later, we communicated via WhatsApp, which worked somewhat better, but still not quite as good as we expected.

Positive: The housekeeper cleans the rooms every day; that's wonderful. We got another room as expected. Sadly, it was a little worse but still acceptable. The bathroom door needs to be replaced. Most of all, we enjoyed the yard. The host is very receptive. Thank you for hosting us.

Positive: I would highly recommend Marti Garden Suites. The check-in process was quick and hassle-free. It's perfect for a family of four. The place is clean, comfortable, and has a great atmosphere. The grounds are well-maintained, and the hotel's location is excellent—very convenient for getting around. We especially liked that this side of the island is not as hilly, which made it easier for us to move around. We highly recommend this place and would definitely return if we choose Thassos Island for our next vacation!

Positive: Close enough to reach nice beach sites and second thing the internet from Starlin - a rare thing on the island. AC in the room and the personnel takes care to live it open before returning in the room. Nice view outside and quiet place in the garden.
Negative: First I was was about to say some bad things but I changed my mind. In the end it's what you're paying for and don't get the highest expectations. It's a modest place and the local caretakers even though do not speak English, only Bulgarian and Serbian try to do their best to make you feel comfortable. If you have an issue just call the reception. They will try to do their best to solve your problem. Overall it's much better than many other accommodations for this price elsewhere. Maybe some small improvements could be made in the future otherwise it's OK.
