Positive: This was our second time staying at Marco and Kristina’s place. Even in the freezing Christmas of 2026, it felt just as warm and welcoming！ We are really grateful to Marco and Kristinafor pre-heated the apartment before we arrived and even prepared fresh flowers. A special touch was the hyacinths they prepared—they were perfectly timed to bloom right on Christmas Day! ! When the temperature dropped, he immediately brought us extra blankets and a heater. The place is bright, spacious, and even has toys for the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked with essentials (oil, spices, coffee, etc.), and they provide plenty of household supplies, making our stay completely stress-free. A smart TV with YouTube casting and a quality Bluetooth speaker. The modern bathroom were a highlight, especially the heater that kept us cozy during the cold snap. Hot water and heating are readily available. It’s only a 300m walk to the bus stop and the path is flat for rolling heavy luggage. The 4-bus just need 10 mins to the train station, and 1 stop to Willy:s supermarket. Everything was great! We truly appreciated Marco’s quick response in providing extra blankets during the cold snap . My only minor suggestion to make this perfect home even better would be adding thicker winter duvets to handle the extreme cold more comfortably. We’ll definitely be back!

Positive: The apartment was very nice, and had everything one could need for a slightly longer stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry machine, and a desk for work. The location is perfectly suited for people visiting to work at either Lund University or the Max IV synchrotron, as both are within walking distance. The city centre can also be quickly reached either by foot or by taking easily accessible public transport. Marco was a very accommodating host, and provided us with everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Negative: Nothing. The apartment provided exactly what we needed for our stay.

Summary: An excellent place to stay for tourists or visiting academics.

Negative: We have been in touch with the owner that we missed the coffee machine. Was in repair during our stay but will be back within soon!

Positive: We had a lovely weekend at Marco's! The apartment was very nice and comfortable, well equipped and neat and clean. Marco was very welcoming and helpful in meeting our needs. We also hired an electric car and Marco allowed us to charge it using his charging point, which we really appreciated. We would definitely recommend this place
