Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Great value for money if you want to stay in Kesennuma for a night. Location is ~30 minutes by foot from the train station or ~10 minutes by BRT (which runs to and from the station). Staff was very friendly and speaks english well enough. Facilities were clean.

Negative: Walls are very thin and you will sleep on a futon, so not a great choice if either of these things tend to bother you.

Positive: it was relatively new guesthouse, so everything was clean and nice. there was even a kerosene heater in the room that didn’t smell much.

Negative: the wall was quite thin so we had to be careful about the noise
