Positive: Friendly and accommodating staff, meters away from ski slope, effective boot drying rack, clean rooms and facilities, free ride to other parts of Hakuba, all these and still has a very reasonable price compared to other places in Hakuba. It's easily the best place I've stayed throughout my 2-month skiing journey in Japan.

Negative: Not great regarding vegan food options. The only things I ate for breakfast are salad, fruit, and rice.

Positive: I had a wonderful time at this lodge. I was really impressed by the quality of the facilities when the price was so reasonable. On top of that, the staff were kind enough to drive me to the neighbouring ski resort every day. You can also eat dinner at the lodge which is reasonably priced. Very friendly staff, sociable vibe to hostel, and nice facilities (including a boots drier and plenty room for skis/snowboards).

Negative: I have no complaints about this place. 10/10 stay

Positive: The place was amazing !! From the location to the staff it was beyond our expectations. It was right outside the slopes, so it made it so easy to go skiing. There was a bus stop at the bottom of the street which was so convenient for getting around and going into town. The breakfast was so delicious and made the mornings so much easier it having to think about making breakfast or going out. The rooms were also amazing, very spacious, clean and comfortable with a heater that worked incredibly. All the staff there were so incredibly helpful, kind and friendly !! Always there if we had any questions or concerns about anything. Overall the best stay of our trip !! 100/10 and big shout out to Ichiro

Positive: Great place to stay in Hakuba, amazing location right on the slope, staff are very helpful and offer back country trips which were amazing. Food and drink on offer is great value and the accommodation has a relaxed vibe with everyone being friendly and sociable, highly recommend.

Positive: Rio, Doris and Ichiro are the most amazing and hospitable hosts and they've created the perfect vibe for a week on the slopes. Included breakfast means everyone gets to know each other, Doris's dinners are elite, cheap lift tickets and nearby onsen are game changers. I would absolutely stay again.

Negative: Not much not to like. The place is constantly being renovated incl. new bathrooms and even a small rail out the back (shame I wasn't able to make more use of it earlier in the season).

Positive: Have the pick up and drop off services on the day of arrival and departure which is very convenient. Have a cozy resting and dining area where you can relax and chill with other guests after skiing.And they do offer a great variety of dinner options and it’s a great value of money! All the hosts are really friendly and welcoming.They have different suggestions on skiing resorts depending on your levels.Plus what to do in Hakuba when you decide to take a rest other than skiing.Overall the restrooms and bathrooms are well maintained and clean.

Positive: Bob, the owner, and his employees, namely Doreen, Rio and Ichi are doing a terrific job there! You feel right at home, it’s clean, awesome food and nice people. The location is basically ON the slopes. And Ichis Tipps for powder are priceless!

Negative: (Nearly) no vegetarian food, but that’s expected. Will come again if ever again in Hakuba valley!
