Positive: Wonderful! A beautiful cottage, very comfortable and welcoming. Done to a very high standard throughout. Everything we needed for our stay and the complimentary tea, coffee and milk etc was very much appreciated . Super hosts. The private parking space is a bonus. We didn't use our car as we walked (great location) or used public transport. We would certainly stay there again. Many thanks to (hosts) Gary and Wendy.

Negative: Disappointed that TV didn't always work, kept cutting out. It was a known issue so shame we weren't informed at point of booking.

Positive: The cottage was lovely, beautifully renovated, tastefully furnished and decorated. Very well equipped and the parking space was a real bonus on a narrow and tricky lane.

Negative: The only downside was something outside the control of the owners, namely the noise from the nearby A62. But the double glazing did a great job of keeping the noise down.

Summary: Beautiful cottage providing a welcome end to a day of walking and sightseeing.

Positive: The location was beautiful and views completely stunning. Wendy and Gary gave lots of little touches inside the cottage to make you feel comfortable and completely at home. Excellent hosts. They were wonderful. Husband and I loved the cottage experience.

Negative: Nothing to complain as although they are brilliant, they cannot control the weather. Unfortunately for us, it was the wettest weekend imaginable so it just means we will just need to return to properly enjoy doing some walks.
