Negative: The only thing we didn’t like was not having dishwasher tablets

Positive: Cute, modern, well appointed cabin with all expected amenities and a wood fire that added character. The large window by the bath created a relaxing outlook. Eggs and bread on arrival were a nice touch.

Negative: This property is metres from the main Blue Mountains road, with trucks passing all night. Being at the top of a hill, they’re either using engine brakes to descend or labouring uphill, so we heard them all night, every night. Some even made the cabin vibrate. The photos hide it well, but this is a second dwelling with the main house visible from every room. There are no window coverings in the main living area, so while I'm sure they weren’t, the owners could have been watching us at night with full visibility into the cabin without us knowing. That made it hard to relax. Overall, a nice cabin, but these issues and the high price, relative to the other places we stayed, made it our least favourite. Also, skip the pub across the road, it was near empty and the service was so poor we left before eating.

Positive: Clean, bright, comfortable. Lovely bathroom and kitchen Great response and help from owner

Negative: No where to walk around outside the house.

Summary: Modern, comfortable, clean. Nice to have crockery etc that’s not Ikea. All you need for two people.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay! The location of the property is simply stunning—waking up each morning and stepping out onto the deck with a coffee, or enjoying an afternoon tea with those breathtaking views, quickly became our favorite part of the day. The studio was beautifully maintained, and the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable—a big win for us! We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the fridge being stocked with all the essentials and the delivery of fresh sourdough bread, which made us feel warmly welcomed. Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable retreat.
