Summary: What an enjoyable stay at the Ski Inn for our last night in Alaska. Perfect location, very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Our room right outside of the kitchen area which wasn’t bad, everyone there was quiet. The offerings in the kitchen were great to wake up to, yogurt, tea, coffee, snacks. Wish we were staying another night in Girdwood. Highly recommend this quaint hotel.

Summary: This stay was just… ok? We had some confusion as to which room was ours (despite checking every message and email, couldn’t find the name of our room), called the number (no one answered), so had to enter our code into every door to find one that worked. Our room could have been cleaner. Floor was sticky and floorboards and bedside tables were really dusty. Breakfast was great for on-the-go items, bed was cozy, location was good!

Summary: The Ski Inn provides a nice clean room with limited services. The property is self-serve check in and check out, so there is no one on site to provide assistance. Once you book the property, you will get the electronic codes to enter the building and your room. We found the property to be very clean, and they have a nice central area with seating and a selection of self serve breakfast items such as juice, milk, bagels, oranges, oatmeal, coffee, etc. We had the Ski View Room #3 which was pretty small, so there is not a lot of room to move around, with a tiny bathroom. If you need a very basic room for the night without extra amenities or services, the Ski Inn is a good affordable option.

Summary: Room was clean but on the small side but good enough for our purposes. Easy walking distance to restaurants and close to Alyeska Resort.
