Positive: Loved the location - Skerrow was a very welcoming warm and comfortable retreat from the icy cold weather we had during our stay. The cottage had all the appliances we needed for home cooking and there was a plentiful supply of hot water for a bath or shower. The Community shop managed by such lovely helpful ladies was well stocked with a great variety of products as well as all the basics.
Summary: Skerrow is a lovely cosy, warm and clean cottage located in a friendly village - certainly a place we wouldn’t hesitate

Positive: Skerrow is like a hidden paradise garden tucked away behind a small shop in the beautiful small burgh of New Galloway. We had a wonderfully peaceful holiday at Skerrow. The cottage is bright, clean and comfortably furnished. There were lots of welcome added touches to make sure we had everything we needed. New Galloway is nestled in beautiful countryside with a wealth of lochs and places of interest. It is a very friendly village with a very friendly village cat, a community shop, post office and community arts centre. I look forward to returning.
Negative: I liked everything.

Positive: Fabulous location. Terrific accommodation. Warm, cosy and well appointed. Could have happily stayed the week if time had allowed. Would highly recommend.
Negative: Didn't bother us but there is a flight of steps up to the property which may not be suitable for some people.
Summary: 10/10. Shop next door fabulous
