Positive: What a fantastic location! Just a few minutes from Skógafoss and with wonderful views of the mountains, this was a relaxing place to spend some time. With four bedrooms - all with en-suite bathrooms - and a large open living area, we had lots of space to enjoy our stay. The hot tub is wonderful and we spent much time in there. This is a fantastic option for families and mixed groups when most places are too small for everyone to have their own space. The living area has been decorated beautifully, and is a very cosy and comfortable place to chill out after a day’s hiking and sightseeing. Highly recommended.

Negative: There was nothing at all that we didn’t like! Even when we had trouble connecting to the WiFi, the host was so helpful and responsive that our glitch was sorted very quickly with a minimum of stress. This is a great place to stay.

Summary: A wonderful, spacious and comfortable home from home in the gorgeous Icelandic countryside.

Positive: Great location in the middle of grassland. And it even.has a Jacuzzi, it is pitiful i didn't have time to enjoy it. We are 8 people, this house allowed us to cook. We had a great time there. By the way, it is very close to Skogafoss.

Negative: If it is cleaner, it will be better.

Positive: Very comfortable and excellent location near to skogar and vik. The beds are comfy and the property is even nicer than in the pictures. They have a washing and drying machine. In booking it stated only washing machine. They have heating towels facilities

Negative: The thermostat in the room was not working and it was super hot. We couldn't sleep with an open window due to high winds.

Positive: Quiet, isolated space with no one else around. There was the occasional sheep that would come somewhat close. Wonderful picture windows to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Bathrooms in each room were great for our group.

Negative: Could be cleaner. There was no coffee as stated. Cooling was somewhat challenging with limited supplies but we made do. Many commented on the bright exterior lights so we were aware this would be an issue. If these are supposed to be security lights, would recommend a separate control for the lights outside the big windows that could be turned off to better appreciate what the view has to offer in the evening.
