Positive: Can't really say anything bad about this place, the staff were great like staying with an old friend. The room was beautiful, clean, easy to manage. Great shower with good water pressure. Breakfast was simple and tasty. There were cookies!! Put out daily!! This hotel is a leisurely 10-minute walk (or a determined 7-minute walk) to Gondola 1 and is in the midst of the best dining in Vail. My wife and I had a dream-like stay here even as the skiing (in early spring - April, 2026) was not up to usual Vail standards. We made up for it by eating and shopping our way through this charming ski village. Honestly, everyone we talked to about Sitzmark in our various chats with restaurant and bar patrons were enthusiastic about the place, so it wasn't just us. We will be repeat customers when we come back to Colorado. Book this place with no regrets.
Negative: Staying at the village in Vail is, in general, pretty expensive and this place was no exception even if comparatively they were priced a little bit better than most. I can't really call that a complaint; potentially just a failure to fully cope with reality.

Positive: The property was pretty modern and clean, with shampoo, conditioner and wash soap provided. It is also a great spot, in the middle of town, close to restaurants and shops and next to the river. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Negative: The parking is very confusing. It says at the end of the street that no vehicles are allowed, but you do have to drive there to park. It would be nice to get an E-mail where it states that. Also for such a nice place and how high quality it is, the breakfast was very disappointing. Very small selection and not even fresh fruit, but frozen. We also requested a crib which cost extra, which turned out to just be a pack and play. It is also very noisy within the hotel, because of how the doors are. You hear everything that is going on the floor.
Summary: Stay was okay, had hoped for a little more though
