The Harbour is a stone Mid-Victorian grade 11 listed building,
believed to have been the former Minister's house, with the Chapel next door.
A charming and elegant house, it occupies a prominent position in the heart of the village, providing luxury accommodation.
It is an ideal base for a self-catering family holiday, walking holiday, cycling, golfing break, or just a cosy weekend away from it all.
The Harbour sleeps 4 adults comfortably or 2 adults and 2 children (aged over 5 years)
The impressive modern oak kitchen /dining room is spacious and has an original flagstone floor.
It is complete with integrated oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, 2 fridges and an upright freezer.
Fully equipped with all china, cooking and bakeware - everything you will need for your holiday.
The main reception room is a restful, stylish place to relax. There is an HD television with netflix and a DVD player.
An original Elm feature fireplace with a wood-burning stove to enjoy on winter evenings if desired, in addition to the oil fired central heating.
On the 1st floor there is a bathroom with an oak panelled deep bath, and a separate shower room next to it.
On this floor is a twin bedroom with 2 full size single beds . There is ample clothes storage and a TV/DVD. This landing has a door with direct access to the garden.
On the second level is a large bedroom with Kingsize bed.
This room has a Smart TV with Netflix
All beds have luxury Eygptian cotton sheets/duvets and are made up ready for use.
Egyptian cotton towels included.
The House has a walled frontage with steps leading up to the front door.
There is another gated access to the side of the house which is level. Steps lead from this entrance to the rear gardens.
The beautiful garden with elevated lawns and shrub borders afford lovely views to the far countryside and have various seating areas, flower borders and large vegetable plot.

Summary: Have stayed several times now and always enjoy our visits. The house is very well equipped - particularly the kitchen, with everything you need for baking as well as churning out meals. The garden is lovely and spacious. We had a minor issue with one of the taps, and Sheelagh got it fixed very quickly.

Summary: This may well be the best VRBO property we have ever stayed in. It was like being invited to an elegant, country home. The beds were very comfortable, as was the lounge with its big TV. The kitchen was fitted with every possible appliance! I had never used an induction hob before and now I want one for myself! Would love to stay there again.

Summary: Have stayed here 4 times now, and have never been disappointed. It’s very well-equipped, and Sheelagh provides several thoughtful extras like nice toiletries, beautiful flowers, some groceries (milk, wine, biscuits etc), and a ready-laid fire in the wood burner - very welcome on a cold March evening.

Summary: My husband, myself, and our 20 year-old twins had a lovely stay in this beautiful house. We stayed here 4-5 years ago, and enjoyed it even more this time, in particular the very well-equipped kitchen. We would love to stay here again when we come back next to this area.

Summary: The Harbour is a beautiful house with lots of character and quirky features. From the moment we checked in we fell in love with the place. So cosy, clean and comfortable. Sheelagh has thought of absolutely everything, from the welcoming Welsh cakes, to the heated clothes airer! The kitchen is perfect for anyone who loves to cook, with a wonderful selection of dishes, pans and utensils. The beds are really comfy and the garden is pretty and peaceful with a number of areas to chill out with a glass of wine. The village of Evenjobb is very quiet if you are looking for a relaxing break, away from the crowds (like we were) but is close enough to some areas of outstanding beauty with plenty of lovely walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to recommend the property. The photos on the internet do not do the place justice.
