Positive: This delightfully renovated property has a very distinct Thai character with modern amenities. The location is excellent and near the river and weekend markets, and the owner is friendly and extremely helpful.

Negative: Not a single thing; our time there was excellent. Highly recommended.

Positive: A great location in the old town, walking distance from everything we wanted to see. We felt so well looked after by the owner, with recommendations of what to see, where to eat and amazing breakfasts, different every day. The bed was huge and really comfortable.

Positive: We drove 3hr from BKK airport to SHH1920 stayed for 2 nights. House is well furbished with strong air con, shower was great, a big fridge for u you to store lots of things. 2 queen size beds & pilows were very comfortable. Can easily sleeps 5-6 for Asian size with a sofa in the living room . Great host served us delicious breakfast ;one of the best in Thailand whereby I'm a vegetarian..so I was lucky to choose this convenient location with humble massage & pedi-nail 💅 just next door..There 're enough parking space with a male staff there in the night to make you feel safe. Not noisy road though located by the street 😀 Though end March was scorching hot weather in Kanchanaburi; we enjoyed ourselves staying here. It really made us feel at home !

Positive: Everything!! The hosts are amazing! The place is on top of a coffee place, huge flat! Everything clean and wow what a tub!! Very nice balcony! We had an amazing breakfast, especially the traditional Thai breakfast we got one day! Very central and close to everything! We obsoletely loved it and will come back!

Negative: There were no coffee/ tea cups in the room which would have been nice without having to go down to the coffee house to enjoy in your room/balcony.

Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, characterful building. For us the location was perfect as we were away from the touristy areas but still near the river. The views from the nearby Skywalk are particularly stunning at sunset. As we like walking, we were happy to go on foot to The Bridge over the River Kwai but there are plenty of economical taxis around if needed. The host is friendly and helpful and provides wonderful breakfasts with something different each day. We struggled to finish the food and felt bad for leaving some! The apartment is spacious with a firm but comfortable bed. There is a long balcony overlooking the street at the front and we enjoyed sitting here in the evening, just watching the world go by. Useful information about nearby places to eat is provided in the room. Although the bus station is nearby, our very kind host drove us there when we left. A much appreciated gesture.

Negative: There was nothing that we didn't like so these are comments rather than criticisms, intended to give information. There is little space to store anything - not an issue for us but could be a problem if there are four people in the room staying for several days. Although it should be clear if you read the information given on Booking.com, be aware that there are no kitchen facilities.
