Positive: Private cabin with a great view at the edge of town.

Negative: As it faces west, it catches the full brunt of the afternoon sun. However, the cabin lacks ventilation, meaning that if you want to be in the cabin in the afternoon, the door needs to be wide open to alleviate the heat. The bathroom also needs ventilation and the drains give off bad smells. The lack of insulation results in it getting very cold during the night.

Positive: There simply is no better place to stay after the long hike up to the Nevado. Sisuma Lodge has a wonderful design, with lots of nice touches to help you rest up. Great hot water, heater in the room, coffee and tea, comfortable bed. Breakfast brought to the room. Dinner brought to the room as well.

Positive: The first Location that looks exactly like it does on the picture! Diego and his staff do the best to give you a special experience. From the delicious breakfast menu, over the cleanness to the very comfortable bed – everything was perfect! Diego gave us good recommendations for restaurants and organized a trekking guide for us. We had a very good time in Güicán :)

Negative: The lodge is located downhill from the center. The walk up isn't that far, but we definitly trained our fitness ;)

Positive: such amazing views from the lodge . comfortable accommodation in a unique property . Diego helped us sort out a trek in the cocuy park and was a great communicator

Negative: it was a little difficult to find - location took you to the top of a dirt track and we didn’t know that the lodge was inaccessible by vehicle
