Positive: We had a lovely stay at Grandma’s. She is a great host! We haven’t seen such hospitality anywhere, it’s like she is your real grandma cooking and taking care of you. The location is perfect for relaxation as it is in the middle of an island and isolated, we loved it. After busy Kuta it was like a breath of fresh air. There are three houses with a view on rice fields and Batukaru mountain. Very soothing. Overall we stayed 3 nights, and felt fully recharged. More than that you might get bored if you don’t have a bike. In that case you can rent it at the village and go see surrounding area. What else, the house we stayed in is beautiful, neat, the bathroom is breathtaking, WiFi is strong and grandma’s cooking is delicious. If you are up to quite holiday it might be a place for you.

Positive: Staying at this property was really a unique and beautiful experience. It is beautifully designed and well kept with high quality finishings. Located in a rural area it’s super calm and surrounded by lush rice fields. All the staff are extremely kind and genuinely do their best to make sure you have a pleasant stay including daily suggestions of activities and things to visit nearby. The wifi also works perfectly and the food they offer is delicious. I highly recommend you visit this charming establishment :)

Positive: Maybe one of the most beautiful places I've stayed? An amazing view of the volcano, the room itself was gorgeous, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom with the outdoor shower was so, so nice.

Negative: There isn't that much to do once you are there without arranging a taxi somewhere! We stayed 2 nights and chilled out and looked at the view all day as needed some down time.

Positive: We spent three wonderful days at this gem of a home stay. The rooms are very comfortable and have each a spacious outside spa-like bathroom. All is spotlessly clean. But the real highlight is the genuine hospitality of the hosts. They go to great lengths to make you feel at home. The food they prepare for you is absolutely delicious. The property is located at the edge of a very calm village in the rice fields. If you want to explore the area, you need a means of transport.

Positive: We stayed at Sirya Farm House for two nights and we enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff was very welcoming and offered a warm and homely experience. The place is located in a paradise setting surrounded by rice fields and beautiful nature. The food was excellent and the service even better! The bedroom was very nice and cozy, but wait until you enter the bathroom - it’s next level!

Negative: The only minus was that there was water dripping from the ceiling because of the heavy rain, but it wasn't too much of a inconvenience since it was dry again the next morning when we got up.

Positive: Beautiful design, beautiful neighborhood- all you hear are frogs and crickets at night, very peaceful, very remote. Clean, lovely breakfast included, the food was exceptionally good. The family is very kind and friendly.

Negative: I wish I could leave a more positive review, as the family was friendly and attentive. However, the issues I encountered can't be overlooked. This place is not suitable for the rainy season. While the bathroom is beautifully designed, it's not sheltered, so when it rains, you end up getting wet while using the toilet. A solution is needed, especially considering the price of the bungalows. The same problem applies to the shower. The location is quite remote, and a scooter is essential. Unfortunately, the scooters they rent are not suited for the roads. Two of them had broken brakes, and one of the staff tried to convince me it was fine despite it being unsafe. I refused that one and ended up taking another with relatively functional brakes but a broken dashboard, so I couldn't see the speed or fuel level. If scooters are offered, they should be properly maintained and safe for guests, especially at these rental prices. I stayed in bungalow #2, which had a leaking roof. After heavy rain, my belongings got wet inside. I pointed this out multiple times, but no action was taken. Additionally, someone entered my bungalow while it was locked and turned off the A/C while I was away, which I found inappropriate and unsettling. Unfortunately, due to these issues, I cannot rate my stay higher, even tho I would love to.

Summary: Relaxing stay, but not good in rainy season.
