Positive: Location was so peaceful and tranquil, lovely green surroundings and accessible walks. We stayed in one of the dog friendly houses, facilities were good, a closed off bedroom, fully functional kitchen, adequate seating, large comfortable bed. The staff were amazing, all so friendly! Breakfast was exceptional, lots of healthy options to choose from and cooked to perfection. The pub is a 2 minute walk, great food and lovely staff there too.

Negative: As we were in the dog friendly house the furniture wasn't the nicest but that is to be excepted and I was quite grateful.

Summary: 10/10 would stay again

Negative: The room was amazing fantastic size it just wasn’t quite as clean as it should have been, cobwebs etc but still really nice and would go back.

Positive: The food was delicious and all freshly cooked.. The hotel is in a stunning location of Somerset, surrounded by beautiful countryside, completely on its own.. The staff are helpful, polite and happy in their work...and told us some amazing history of the hotel..

Positive: What a wonderful hotel! It's about 500 years old but has been very well kept. Everything is in beautiful shape with the old wood paneling shining and a cozy fire in the fireplace. Our room was large and very clean with a gorgeous view out the window. The staff were all very helpful and they have a good secure place to keep bicycles overnight.

Negative: We have no complaints at all!

Negative: Adjusting the temperature of the shower took a lot of experimenting.

Summary: Facilities were good, the staff did anything we asked for, and the weather was dry. Great.
