Summary: So we booked this cabin for our Anniversary and upon arrival (which was later around 10pm) it was extremely hot. There is NO AC in this house. Only 2 window units and fans. But not in the master room. Only a fan in that room. There is a door to the outside porch but we didn’t want to sleep with the door open. We didn’t sleep well with it being so hot. You would think the cleaning people or who ever checks the house to make sure it’s ready for us would make sure it’s cool and comfortable for guest when they arrive. We had a hard time with getting the key in the locks. They need to be updated. We booked this room because of the view and hot tub but we couldn’t enjoy the hot tub with the Cabin being so hot. We couldn’t cool off afterwards. We tried to stay away from the cabin except to sleep which is disappointing when you want to relax away from home. We didn’t want to be on the go the entire time. But One night we went to Starbucks just to hang out. There was also no where to turn around a big car. We drive a suburban and we had to do a 20 point turn to turn around to get back down the driveway. You also need 4 wheel drive (even in the summer) because it’s up the mountain. The furniture in the living room area is cloth and did not look clean. The shower screams/whistles when using it. The beds are not comfortable and pillows are hard. Ours backs and necks hurt after sleeping. We came home a day early and just lost that money. The rental company was great to work with with our complaints (and brought us some box fans) so next time we will call them to find a better cabin to stay in and not use a booking app. Lesson learned. We would not stay here again.

Summary: Alright. So I have good things and I have bad things to say. The good things are that the view is beautiful. It was relatively close to things, but you still feel secluded. I talked to somebody named Sandy (customer service) about some issues upon checkout and she was AMAZING. The listing does not say anything about weight restriction for dogs, then after we booked and paid they told us that the weight restriction was no bigger than 25lbs. They were very nice and allowed us to take our medium sized dog anyway due to it not being clear in the listing. SOME NOT SO GREAT THINGS- The couch was dirty and had what looked like footprints on it, as well as food crumbs. I had blankets in my car that I ended up covering the couch with. The kitchen has a coffee machine, waffle maker, microwave, but no oven mitts, no sharp knives, no large pans for cooking in the oven, the stove top turns off and back on randomly if you are using an element, the kitchen table is SO STICKY. No matter how many times I tried to wipe it, our plates, napkins, my phone, etc all got stuck to the table. We were playing a card game and we ended up putting a towel down because it would have damaged the cards. There is a telescope, doesnt work. The dishwasher works, but is almost falling out of the counter. Huge stains on the carpet, which desperately needs replaced. Swinging chair on the porch doesnt even look like it would hold a toddler. There is no AC in the master bedroom, so when you get there, turn the fans on (they shake, but they didnt fall on us) and turn the AC on high to get air into the master bedroom. Speaking of the master bedroom, the bed frame feels like it is going to fall apart. I sat on it (185lb) and the entire thing shakes because its not sturdy. The shower faucet SCREAMS when you are showering. Also, using the keys was SUCH A STRUGGLE, I dont know if the house keys were new, or really old, but it took us a good 5 minutes and both hands to try and get the lock to turn. While this is a lot of information, it was over all a good vacation. We made it work, we had fun, and we even got engaged on this trip. The cabin just needs work, and just so you know, 4 wheel drive is required on the road getting to the cabin (its posted on the road, not on the description of the cabin) and you DEFINITELY NEED IT!!!

Summary: Arrived at the property and upon entering the home was a strong odor of urine. I had to buy febreeze and candles to try and deal with the smell. The carpets had many urine stains all over the house and the smell continued even through all the febreeze and candles throughout the stay. Had to leave the house open even when it was cold and rainy outside. Used the hot tub 1 night and the next day it was cloudy and slimy with no chlorine in the floater, had to buy clorine and clarifier to be able to use the hot tub after 2 days of the chemicals running in the tub. The dishwasher literally came out of the counter when we used it. When we arrived there were dead bugs in the sliding glass door jam we have to sweep out. The sink in the bathroom is coming away from the wall. I would not recommend anyone to stay there, especially due to the strong urine smell and due to the place not being cleaned, all carpets need replaced. Will never rent from this company or a pet friendly place again. Very disappointed

Summary: Perfect little 2 bedroom cabin up on the mtn. Good views. Easy to get to from Boone. Only downfall is there is not really any room to turn around in the driveway, but that wouldn't hinder me from staying there again.

Summary: We enjoyed the view from the deck and the hot tub. My only suggestions would be better lighting and better equipped kitchen.
