Positive: The space was great. Garden was perfect. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Enough utensils for cooking. Good social kitchen. Great location.

Negative: Shower in en-suite had no option other than scolding hot or freezing cold. Small things missing like sugar, washing up liquid, foil, cleaning products, kitchen roll. Only 4 logs for a weekend wasn’t enough for the fire.

Positive: The house was amazing, really lovely garden and a great kitchen to have family dinners at. The media room is great for watching a movie at night. The Sonos surround is really impressive. but it's hard to stay awake in the comfort of the lazy boys. The fire pit and tiki bar were a fantastic touch. we made some lovely memories.

Negative: We thought for the cost of the cleaning fee that there would have been more attention paid to the toilets and dishes. The towels had someone's very long hair in them which was an uncomfortable discovery while drying myself after a shower. There's black mould in the en-suite and there was urine in the toilet. I assume because there are so many rooms to go through it was missed by accident. Nearly every one of the glasses had to be washed before use and the plates had dishwasher residue and some food on them. I imagine this was just from a last minute wash from the previous guest but it'd have been nice to not have to do all that before making our first meal after a ten hour drive.

Summary: Great house, good location, some tidying needed but all in all a good choice for our weekend away.
