Positive: A beautiful restored house with spacious room with an en suite. Immaculately clean room and loved the decor with thoughtful touches throughout. The hosts were absolutely fabulous, making us feel very welcome and taking their time giving lots of information of what to do in the area. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip. It was delicious breakfast with so much choice, very fresh and beautifully presented. Location was perfect, quiet countryside with beautiful views. I would definitely recommend staying there and exploring the area and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. We came with two springer spaniels Loki & Thor (one happy and one grumpy) and they were made to feel very welcome as well.

Negative: Nothing. It was perfect

Summary: Superb hosts, superb location and superb accommodation.

Positive: Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were great, including very fresh eggs (from their hens) and Italian breakfast cake. Claudio and Uros were really friendly and gave us lots of useful information about local attractions and places for dinner. We even got a personal tour of their beehives.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Silentium Domus doo. It was the best place we've stayed in Slovenia.

Positive: I had such a lovely stay!! The hosts were incredibly kind and hospitable. It was such a pleasure to meet them. The house itself is beautiful and a stunning and peaceful location on the top of a quiet village. The room was very comfortable with a huge bathroom and very clean and tidy. I highly recommend this place... you won't regret it!

Positive: First of all - the owner, Claudio, has a very hands-on aproach at hosting. He’ll see himself that all of your needs are met. Every little thing is well thought out, it’s very obvious that service quality is very important to Claudio. He’s been travelling alot, so he knows what a traveller needs. He’s also a professional chef and the breakfast he makes is nothing short of magic. Every major ingridient is either from his own garden, his neighbours garden or foraged in the wild, too. The place itself is very quiet, the only sounds you hear is nature and the few animals that live on the property. Claudio also told us lots of stories of his experiences with the fauna found in the forests around.

Negative: The only thing I didn’t like was that we stayed for ONLY one night. Next time when we’re travelling anywhere close in the region, might pop into Slovenia just for this experience alone.

Summary: Go ahead and book your stay, I assure you, you’re not going to be disappointed.
